O Arboriza Sorocaba visa engajar a população de Sorocaba e Região para o plantio de árvores.O cidadão pode se cadastrar via portal WEB Arboriza Sorocaba: arboriza.sorocaba.sp.gov.br.
O cadastro oferece opções de engajamento: ser um voluntário e guardião. O cidadão voluntário poderá fazer parte de plantios e ser notificado via e-mail das atividades de plantio e será responsável pelo ciclo de vida de uma ou mais árvores, monitorando e garantindo seu crescimento, de forma a colaborar com o processo de Arborização da cidade.
O aplicativo e portal WEB permitem que o cidadão reporte um problema em relação à árvore para a Secretaria de Meio Ambiente. O aplicativo também permite ao guardião publicar no portal Arboriza Sorocaba ou nas suas redes sociais o lindo crescimento da árvore, sua beleza e funcionalidade ecológica, engajando mais pessoas para essa ação social e de sustentabilidade ambiental.
