Description
The Cady Wellness Institute app provides our patients as well as the general public timely and potentially lifesaving information on optimizing human potential. Our focus is “integrating mind and body for peak performance,” and we live that focus and mission every day.This app includes information on the diagnosis and treatment of the most common mental health disorders, and is provided at no cost to the world community as part of our commitment to educating the public about mental health issues, as well as medical ones. Increasingly, we have seen many patients who have significant, undiagnosed medical problems as well, including hypothyroidism, adrenal fatigue or “burnout,” disrupted sex hormone levels, and even viral loading with some of the infections that can literally drain your energy tanks all the way to empty. Toward that end, there is also information about hormonal issues.
For our patients – some of whom may be traveling to the Evansville/Newburgh area for the first time – we include a handy “around us” section where you can find the best and recommended hotels, restaurants, pharmacies, and other points of interest. Turn by turn directions are available from within the app for some of our “directionally challenged” friends. A one button DIAL is available for a quick call from our patients.
There is information abut the Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation program at CWI, which offers a cutting edge, multimodal style of integrative practice that, to our knowledge, has never been replicated anywhere. TMS is an FDA approved technology, available only in the last three years, that has transformed our treatment of serious and resistant depression. At CWI, we combine it with psychotherapy during treatments, as well as vigorous hormonal, adrenal, and thyroid stabilization.
There is also information about the CWI focus on antioxidants and glutathione – two key cornerstones of optimal health. These sections will be built out further as new medical literature emerges.

Cady Wellness Institute was founded in July 2005 by Dr. Louis B. Cady, MD, a board certified psychiatrist and a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. This free-standing neuropsychiatric institute had its origins in the fact that some patients were not getting better, and Dr. Cady desired a multidisciplinary, team approach to patient care focused around the four core missions of clinical patient care, teaching, publishing, and charitable giving back to the community. Toward this end, there are at present two licensed therapists, two trained TMS technicians, a doctor of naturopathy, and Dr. Cady collaborating at CWI.
As this app matures, more information will be added in response to new and updated medical information, as well as helpful suggestions received from our patients, friends, and app users. At CWI, we all hope that you enjoy using our app and that you find it beneficial and useful.
