Security
Security is a top priority for the Medgate Partner Network. That is why the Medgate App also places particular emphasis on guaranteed data protection. The user's identity is verified with a process that makes use of an identity card. The Medgate App is a medical product with CE certification.
Medical data is not transmitted to the health insurance company. Medgate is the manufacturer, distributor and operator of the App. Medical services are provided by members of the Medgate Partner Network.
Costs
The consultation is billed via the health insurance company in the context of statutory benefits (analogous to a visit to a doctor's office) and is recognized by all Swiss health insurers. A teleconsultation costs on average CHF 50. In certain insurance models, there are no costs related to franchises or deductibles.

How to install Medgate APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download Medgate APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).

5 ★Sehr gute App für den Kontakt mit Medgate. Durchdacht und einfach zu bedienen! Eine Funktion die noch fehlt, ist dass zwei Elternteile das gleiche Kind in ihrer App erfassen können.
3 ★Die App scheint die Spracheinstellungen des Betriebssystems und der App nicht sauber auseinanderzuhalten. Mein Behandlungsplan ist auf Englisch statt Deutsch, und die Ärztin erwartete bei der Telekonsultation, ich würde Englisch sprechen. Die Hilfetexte in der App wechseln spontan die Sprache.
1 ★Muss immer wieder anmelden, und Fingerprint funktioniert nicht.
3 ★Diese App geht in die richtige Richtung. Teilweise ist die Bedienung aber sehr kompliziert. Vor allem beim Behandlungsplan.

3 ★After spending 15 min locked in a train toilet to photograph my inflamed tonsils I realized that I sent the pictures without the reference number and had to start all over... it would be good if there was at least a notification before sending that required information is missing. Finally I was expecting that I could access the photos for future reference but they aren't saved. What I really like about the app are the recommendations and maps for healthcare providers.
1 ★Ist nicht wirklich für die Anwendung mit Tablet oder Smartphone konzipiert! Funktionen zum Übermitteln von Fotos funktioniert nach 100x versuchen nicht und die Fotos sind dann auch weg (nicht gespeichert) Somit bei Notfällen völlig unbrauchbar!
3 ★Nach Meldung an Medgate sollte ich Fotos hochladen. Hat die ersten paar Male nicht funktioniert, bis ich dann die Auflösung (und damit die Filegrösse) gesenkt habe. Wäre empfehlenswert, den Benutzer darauf hinzuweisen, wenn die gesmaten Bilder zu gross werden. Und die Bilder für zukünftige Referenz zu speichern wäre ebenfalls praktisch.
