La sezione estiva del Premio Gallo si svolgerà a Soverato. Il brand scelto per questo Festival è CALAMEDIA. Il Festival vuole presentare i grandi protagonisti (scenografi, musicisti, attori, registi, sceneggiatori, ecc.) delle arti visive italiane.Il Progetto Il Premio Mario Gallo, organizzato dalla Cineteca della Calabria, giunto alla sua XI edizione è sostenuto e patrocinato sin dalla sua prima annualità dal Ministero dei Beni e delle Attività Culturali e del Turismo.
Il Premio attribuisce diversi riconoscimenti in varie sezioni a personaggi di levatura nazionale e internazionale, distintisi nel mondo del cinema e della cultura. L’iniziativa, la cui fase conclusiva si svolge tradizionalmente all’interno della Provincia di Cosenza, anche attraverso la partecipazione e il coinvolgimento delle piu’ importanti istituzioni culturali del territorio,per questa annualità, farà tappa in diverse aree dell’intero territorio della Regione Calabria
Soverato, la perla dello Jonio, sarà nei prossimi anni la grande protagonista del Festival.
