The App Cam Solo is a full HD, weatherproof smart camera. Completely wire-free, the app cam is battery powered with advanced power-saving technology featuring up to 180 days standby time. With quick and easy installation, the camera can be placed anywhere inside or outside of the home.Offering a 130-degree viewing angle, which provides a greater field of vision, the Guardian App Cam Solo can be fitted to any flat surface with an easy-to-install magnetic base. Also included is an optional screw base for those more easy-to-reach areas, such as the front door. Cameras can be twisted to an angle to suit any situation and easily moved around the home without the need to re-wire or place near a power source, providing complete flexibility when setting up viewing angles.
The App Cam Solo connects directly to the local Wi-Fi network and features motion detection recording directly to an SD card. Users can access the App Cam Solo with a Smart phone or tablet via the free to download Uniden Solo app, which also provides users remote access to the cameras to check-in from anywhere in the world. With optional app push notifications when motion or sound is detected, users can be reassured the home is safe while at work or on holiday.
Users can connect as many cameras as they wish in areas such as, the driveway, garage, front and back entrances and upstairs. The camera can even be used to check on pets or babies while in other areas of the house.

5 ★took me a while to instal but was because i did not follow instructions properly. My problom was i did not allo the camera lens to scan QR on phone screen during the wifi set up. was my fault. Camers are great .....push notifications are great......email notifications are a bit slow. really happy.........
4 ★App and camera are great. Just few features of camera and app to consider Dark mode for app? It's too bright when you get an alert late at night. Haha near blinds me. Sleep mode for camera with timer? when winds are very high or you know your going to be working near it keeps giving alerts so is probably using the batteries I've ordered 4 more of these cameras so will let you know how I get on running multiple.
4 ★Hey guys, can we please get longer record settings back? used to be 1 min after trigger but now it's only 30 seconds. 2 mins plus would be great even if it has to split the files in to 30 second lots. Also, being able to change the PIR settings depending on the time of day would be cool also eg; having it set on low during the day and high at night. Apart from that it works pretty well, remote connection is good once set up properly. Cheers
3 ★works fine but the UI is cumbersome for accessing Scenes. you have to tsp Devices then slide the cameras listed down a few times as it rebounds up, then tap the scene you want to deploy. it would be nice if the scenes you create were available on their own panel for quick access.
3 ★The cameras work well and viewing all good from the app. Watching the play back all good, but it has trouble on some occasions with notifying, and I can not send Emails no matter how I try changing settings and Uniden help centre couldn't get it to email me either.
1 ★It used to work well but since months can't connect via external WIFI (on work) only when home. Basically the cams are useless and Uniden is not in a hurry to fix this issue, steer away from this one people as the cams are top dollar rubbish!
1 ★I purchased the Uniden Smart Wifi Cam today and my excitement was short lived until I started having various issues with the App in particular the Sound or the 2 way talk. I am an IT professional and I highly recommend an update to this app as it lacks various patches to address Sound Bugs / Issues.
2 ★Worked well initially, but is now not connecting to the cameras consistiently. Only connects one int 30 time and only to some cameras (I have 4 installed). I am using the app with solo+ cameras if that makes a difference.
1 ★This app is rubbish. Every month it would tell me my password is wrong and now I can't even log in to veiw the videos as now apparently my email is wrong. No help from customer support. Waste of $1000 on cameras!! Would not recommend at all!
1 ★Brought $800 worth of home security only to find the app is an epic fail. Does not let you connect to wifi. Will definitely NOT recommend this product due to the wifi not connecting. I hope I get a refund.
1 ★never connects. useless. also got the ones with batteries. need to change almost every fortnight and they are not the cheap ones. please at least make the app working if you cant do anything about batteries. !!!
2 ★App is very slow and delayed. Sometimes notifications are delayed by up to 10 minutes. Then when you go to view it says can't connect.
