Wear OS:
Full support for standalone GPS tracking with GPS enabled watches like the Sony Smartwatch 3 and Moto 360 sport. Allowing you can leave your phone at home. The android wear app also supports Bluetooth Low energy (4.0) peripherals like heart rate sensors and inbuilt sensors. The wear app also supports non gps enabled watches when paired to a phone, working in a mirrored mode allowing you to control and see the phones recording.
Ghostracer allows you to use your GPS android wear device as a fully usable cycling computer. It can connect to btle cycling sensors such as speed, cadence and power sensors.

Note there is an issue with the Sony Smartwatch 3 (sw3) where sweat can make the watch lose GPS signal. People have used sweatbands or other things under the watch to keep it away from sweat, resulting in much improved performance.

1 ★Doesn't work on wear os with fossil sport watch 4 without phone. Never get GPS recording or heart rate, despite the watch having its own GPS. Uploaded 0km 35min run to the app. I've granted the app access to location. Recording a run without a phone is just too hard a task for wear os apparently.
5 ★Just out of sudden it stopped working on my Sony SW 3, it is not syncing anymore. I've tried to rest the app and reinstall but it's still not working... Disappointment
5 ★Best standalone Wear OS activity tracking app. Highly customizable screens and shows your position on a map. Tested GPS distance with another app and it was right on.
4 ★Awesome! And supports Android wear OS! Just needs Heart Rate zones (like a colored background, so I can see what zone I'm in at a quick glance) and Google play upload support.
5 ★Paid for the full version of the app within minutes. While the app may be a bit unpolished here and there, it's functions (especially the high customisability on WearOS) is made for true fitness enthusiasts, not wannabe active wear models.
4 ★No longer allowing strava sign in on samsung s4 mini I use as bike computer, even with reverting to older versions. Is this intentional? Strava sign in works on oneplus5t
1 ★it does the job but it's trying to bypass the map...makes you look like walking thru walls...it makes point A to point B of your destination a straight line....not sure if the distance is accurate
2 ★It is not working. All based on Strava but can't access Strava. Where to import GPX files from is not stated. Not usable.
5 ★I tried 5 different running apps and none of them would showy current pace on my watch, only average pace. Thankfully I found ghostracer!
4 ★I love the customizable screens but when the run uploaded to strava the pace changed by 2 minutes a mile. :( ETA appreciate the feedback for how to change settings!
