Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Useless on a phone, may work ok on a tablet. No way to increase font size and doesen't work in landscape mode. If you want to zoom in it opens the page in a new window that you can't zoom anyway and then you need to close that page to move on. Useless.
1 ★Adobe has a product to create ePubs, but not a good product that can read them. That's kind of amazing. I can create an epub with InDesign that looks great in Google Books, but not in Adobe Digital Editions. Some of the epubs I create will have a standard font (Times New Roman), in perhaps 12 point, and yet when Digital Editions opens it, the font will be huge! Really huge, so that you can't actually read the page, or the sentence. I don't use the app when creating epubs, I send it to my phone or tablet, and read it using Google Books. That's a waste of time. Have sent feedback like this to Adobe. Adobe has some good apps. This is not one of them.
2 ★Doesn't sync across platforms, so if you are reading a book on say, a laptop and then on your phone, good luck remembering where you left off. If you do want to read on your phone, you have to manually transfer the file from your computer to the phone, upon which it also doesn't register, and you have to again manually search through your downloads folder. Way too much hassle for something that should be easy. Only giving it two stars because it gets the job (albeit poorly) done.
1 ★So frustrated. I spent $16 on a book that can only be opened using this app. I downloaded the book 6 times and could not get this app to open to the file. Bookseller will not give refund and I would really like to read this book. I don't have another device to try, either.
1 ★Slow and unresponsive even to page turning. Lacks features of other applications. It's a real shame I have to use this to read library books and I only do so as a last resort.
1 ★On the one hand, I'm hesitant to disparage this app, because it's both free and without ads. On the other, it is the only option for people reading DRM-controlled ebooks from certain libraries, universities, and Books-A-Million; as such, it is deserving of criticism. The aesthetics are bland, the settings screen is a credits page with a single actual setting, and the usability is suspect with no single comprehensive tutorial. I would look forward to improvements, but they have no reason to do so
3 ★The program keeps on flipping backwards in my book by a few pages, even when I went out of my way to bookmark my place. I feel that the visual layout of the app could stand to be improved a little, but it's not cluttered in appearance. It kind of annoys me that you can't delete the "Getting Started" file. Please fix the issue that causes it to go back a few pages.
1 ★Have gone back to buying books. Purchased a few Adobe books for work and can't use this software on my work pc, so forever find myself having to refer to my small mobile phone screen and that's painful. Not a good solution!
1 ★Horrible, nothing works, can't even open files with "Open with" from the Android files manager. Authorization process between devices is a pain (PC has to be done first but never explained). Absolutely bad experience. Hard to think of worse when coming from a large organization full or resources like Adobe. A shame.
1 ★Really really slow. It loads slow, then it is very unresponsive. It takes so many clicks to get to the next page or for a menu option to pop up. The only reason why I use it is because some of the books I have require it. Amazon DE is much more responsive on my old laptop as is Kindle with on this relatively new tablet. I'm sure the user experience can be improved a lot more.
1 ★I have a textbook that I read on my tablet through this app. I wanted to install it on my laptop so it was easier to copy & paste my highlights/notes without having to type them from the tablet app. Despite having the same email address attached to it on both devices, it doesn't show the book that I have in my "inventory". It also crashes frequently without notice at times, and for seemingly no reason. Edit: I had to redownload it, & it didn't have my highlights or notes saved. I also can't highlight text to c&p either. What a useless app, at least it's free, if I had to pay for this I'd be really upset.
1 ★A really bad reader for ePub files. The optimizations are abominable - horrible page flows, no font styles, no alignments options, a bookmark feature that doesn't work properly, image files are halved for some reason. This app needs a lot of fixations.
