Jamrud adalah band cadas yang berasal dari Indonesia, pertama kali terbentuk pada tahun 1984 di Cimahi, Jawa Barat dengan nama Jamrock. Jamrud sejak terbentuknya dibentuk oleh Azis Mangasi Siagian (gitar), Ricky Teddy (bass) dan Krisyanto (Vokal) serta dikenal sebagai grup musik yang sukses mengusung musik cadas sebagai musik populer di Indonesia pada tahun 1990-an.Sebelum menjadi Jamrud, formasi awal Jamrock terdiri dari Azis Mangasi Siagian (gitar), Ricky Teddy (bass), Agus (drum), dan Oppi (vokal), selain mereka, Budhy Haryono mantan drummer GIGI juga pernah menjadi anggota band Jamrock. Formasi Jamrock akhirnya terbentuk menjadi yang populer dikenal oleh penggemarnya tahun '90-an yaitu Azis (gitar), Ricky Teddy (bass), Krisyanto (vokal), Fitrah Alamsyah (gitar), dan Sandhy Handoko (drum).
