De Pijnkaartje app is bedoeld voor medisch professionals en helpt bij de behandeling van acute pijn bij kinderen. In de app is alle informatie van het Pijnkaartje richtlijnen boekje, dat tussen 2005 en 2014 werd uitgegeven, opgenomen. De Pijnkaartje richtlijn is ontwikkeld door de afdeling Kinderanesthesiologie van het Wilhelmina Kinderziekenhuis, Universitair Medisch Centrum Utrecht. Deze app is ontwikkeld door HealthByte, in samenwerking met het UMC Utrecht.Eindelijk is het nu niet meer noodzakelijk om het Pijnkaartje boekje bij je te dragen. Alle inhoud van het boekje staat in deze app, bovendien met diverse inhoudelijke verbeteringen. Dé manier om snel de gewenste informatie te vinden, pijn- en sedatiescores te doen, notities te maken en zeker te weten dat je altijd met de meest recente versie van het Pijnkaartje op zak loopt.
Medisch professionals beschikken met deze app over een unieke tool ter ondersteuning van pijnmanagement bij kinderen, met daarin
- informatie over pijnmanagement;
- informatie over analgetica en bijbehorende doseringsvoorschriften en toelichting;
- een interactieve tool voor Pijnmetingen en Sedatiemetingen, gebaseerd op de bekende pijnscore- en sedatiescore instrumenten en de beslisbomen Pijn en Sedatie uit de Pijnkaartje richtlijn.
