Esta aplicación de realidad aumentada, se presentara durante el Congreso de la Sociedad Chilena de Ortopedia y Traumatología (www.congresoschot.cl) que se realizará el mes de Noviembre en la ciudad de Viña del Mar, Chile, para la empresa Biomarin, la cual se dedica puntualmente al tratamiento de pacientes con la enfermedad de Morquio. LoS AR Tags serán 2 folletos que esta empresa entregara a los asistentes.Un sistema de Realidad Aumentada genera una vista compuesta para el usuario que corresponde a la combinación de una imagen real, y una generada computacionalmente que aumenta (o suplementa) la escena real con formación adicional (tales como sonido, video, y gráficos).
Esta aplicación, dependiendo del folleto (relacionado con el Síndrome de Morquio) que se enfoca con la cámara, lo suplementará con reconstrucciones 3D de diferentes malformaciones esqueléticas (Vértebra en bloque, Beaking y Platipondilia) en comparación con una vértebra normal. Las vértebras se podrán girar a voluntad e independientemente unas de otras.
