■ 「우리말가꿈이」 구성은
2010년 제1기 우리말가꿈이를 중심으로 누구나 자율적으로 참여하는 자를 대상으로, 단체별로 구성하여 운영하며, 대상은 일반인(연합), 학교단체(초, 중, 고, 대학), 기업단체, 공공기관 단체로 구성하여 운영한다.
■ 「우리말가꿈이」 하는 일은
1. 공공기관 언어 개선 : 공공기관의 언어실태를 조사하고 순화하기 위한 활동이며, 공공기관에서는 홈페이지를 통해 공공언어를 바르게 사용하기위한 운동을 마련하도록 한다.
2. 방송, 신문, 인터넷 언어 개선 : 방송, 신문, 인터넷 언어의 기능을 조사하고 올바른 언어 사용을 권장하여 대중매체 언어의 공공성 회복을 위한 방안을 제시한다.
3. 청소년 언어 개선 : 공공 언어로서의 교육언어 사용의 문제를 교육적인 측면에서 접근하고 학생들의 자발적인 참여 형태의 프로그램을 만들어 청소년 스스로 올바른 언어 사용을 위한 노력을 하도록 환경을 조성한다.
4. 일반사회 언어 개선 : 대중사회에서 사용되는 언어개선 프로그램을 관련 사회단체와 연계하여 조사하고 개선하도록 활동한다.
