İMDER HakkındaKısa adı İMDER olan Türkiye İş Makinaları Distribütörleri ve İmalatçıları Birliği, sektörde önde gelen ve Türkiye’nin en büyük Holdingleri ’nin kuruluşları olan 9 firma tarafından, resmi olarak 14 Mart 2002 tarihinde kuruldu.
Yaklaşık 70 yıllık, tamamen yatırımlara yönelik faaliyet gösteren, İş ve İnşaat Makinaları ve Ekipmanları Sektörünü temsil eden İMDER, sektörün %93’sini temsil ederek kuruluşundan bu yana Türk ekonomisinin vazgeçilmez aktörlerinden biri haline gelmiştir. 2007 yılında TÜRKİYE ismini, 5253 sayılı kanun gereği ilgili tüm bakanlıkların oluru ve İçişleri Bakanlığı’nın onayı ile kullanmayı hak eden 485 dernekten biri olmayı başaran ve Türkiye’nin en büyük Holdinglerinin ve sektörün en büyük ve güçlü firmalarının üyesi olduğu İMDER, her yıl yeni üyeleriyle büyümeye devam etmektedir. İMDER, faaliyetlerini ulusal ve uluslararası platformlarda etkili ve güçlü bir şekilde sürdürmekte ve ulusal ve uluslararası alanda iş makinaları sektör ile ilgili tüm organizasyonlarda TÜRKİYE İş Makinaları Sektörünü temsil etmektedir.
