On your new Motorola Android phone, Select “Android” from the first screen in Migrate and follow the instructions to pair your new and old phones.
To transfer from non-smartphones:
Download this app to your supported Motorola phones to transfer contacts.
On your new Motorola Android phone, Select “Other” from the first screen in Migrate and follow the instructions to pair your new and old phones.

Attention Migrate Users:Sorry, but we will be retiring Migrate starting on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. You may still use Migrate if you are on Android 2.2 Froyo through Android 5.1 Lollipop.
You may wish to choose another app as an alternative for your data transfers. While Motorola does not endorse or warranty third-party apps, some users have reported success using Copy My Data, Phone Copier, ShareIt, etc.
How to install Motorola Migrate APK on Android phone or tablet?

1 ★Should be 0 stars. Current app i have had on here for ever doesn't even work anymore. "Not supported by andriod" is what it says. Thank-you for being useless after your updates. Useless.
1 ★Had a moto G 1st gen and replaced it Whit a G4 plus..... Sad to see then I can't use the app I was planning for to transfer my SMS history to my new 6.01 Android phone. Since I got to keep some SMS, I can't reset my old phone to let play my children on it. Thanks to push a great app to migrate from to moto phone to let down their clients. Since some functionality did disappeared from old to new generation of the same line, I plan to end my moto phone line renewal on my next phone.
2 ★I got a new Moto X still on 5.1 that was trying to sync with this app. Errored so I checked for updates and installed 6.0 and removed the app. What was a relatively painless integration is now going to take me hours. Thanks for nothing Motorola. Wiped it with factory reset and still on 6.0. Bang up job.

1 ★I wish I could give it zero stars. So Lenovo-Motorola has decided to no longer maintain this app. That's okay. BUT, they still won't let you remove it! Even after the latest OS and app updates, it is still non-removable. Yeah, I see why people root their phones with that kind of attitude from the manufacturers.
