PfP adalah singkatan dari Pesantren for Peace (Pesantren untuk Perdamaian). PfP adalah sebuah program yang diinisiasi oleh Center for the Study of Religion and Culture (CSRC) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta dan Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Jakarta dengan dukungan dari European Union (EU).Tujuan utama program ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kontribusi dan peran penting kelompok Islam Indonesia yang moderat sebagai kelompok agama yang dominan di negara ini dalam rangka menegakkan dan memajukan nilai-nilai hak asasi manusia, demokrasi, toleransi agama dan pencegahan serta penyelesaian konflik secara damai di Indonesia.
Sementara itu, Tujuan Khusus dari program ini adalah untuk memperkuat dan membantu sekolah-sekolah Islam (disebut "pesantren") dalam merealisasikan tanggung jawabnya sebagai aktor yang memiliki pengaruh besar terhadap kehidupan masyarakat sipil lokal dalam menginisiasi hadirnya dialog-dialog damai sehingga dapat hidup berdampingan dengan kelompok-kelompok agama minoritas.
