1 ★Had this app on a tablet years ago and liked it as an alternative. Installed it on my new phone and is has a noted a nice interface but two (at least) major drawbacks. First it wants to have a location all the time not just when it is open, and second it does not seem to want to store locations except in their cloud. Both of these are simply not acceptable do not want to be tracked and do not want my contacts sold. Unfortunate as this used to be a good ap.
1 ★Have install app twice now and it just won't open. Asks for location permission then when granted goes back to open the app again! Continual loop! 😡
3 ★This app worked perfectly until it was updated. It asks permission to access your location, and when permission is granted, it sends you to the app info page. When you try to go back to the home page for the app, it kicks you back to the phone home screen. There is no way to open this app in its current configuration. Please fix ASAP!!
1 ★This app used to be my every day savior. Not anymore. There was an issue a few months ago. It kept kicking me out. I tried for several days till I gave up and stopped using it. Today, I gave it another chance hoping issues should be fixed by now. I was really glad that I could stay on the app without being kicked out. HOWEVER, I cannot login neither using my account nor using facebook. My logins kept failing no matter how many times I reset my password. Totally disappointed.
2 ★I have loved this app, even payed for it years ago!! Recently, after an update, it no longer let's me in. It keeps telling me to allow location services, then crashes. As I drive alot every day, I rely on this for traffic. I have started using Waze this week and just might stay with it being I cant get back into INRIX. It's been a fun 8-9 years, but sometimes it's just easier to move onto a new product.
1 ★Like the other reviews stated, the recent update made this app useless. I've uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. I used to really like this app... Update- even after the most recent update this is still broken. It won't work until you give it permission to track you at all times. There's an option to have it run only when using the app but it doesn't work
1 ★I decided to give Inrix a shot, as an alternative to Google Maps and Waze. While the graphics are impressive, it lacks the optimization that Waze has. The biggest show-stopper is that after entering a given address and starting the navigation, it accurately aprises the ETA, but hangs up perpetually in the "Calculating" mode. This happens regardless of any address that is input into the search bar. When opening the aforementioned apps, they immediately load and are ready to navigate. Google and Waze should not have any fear of Inrix as a serious contender.
1 ★Used to be perfect, for so many years - now (after Dec 2018) can't even handle basic traffic function, constantly reports accident alerts from a year ago, (?!) no matter how often I set it to not alert me about them. Also seems to think I am in Seattle, WA (where I have never been - I have only used it in NYC area + New Jersey) and I now have to zoom out and hunt down my little GPS dot which is 3,000 miles from where app thinks it is, manually - so odd. Used to be great. Wish I knew why. :(
1 ★This app worked well until recently. Now it does not always show the traffic on roads that it used to. Worse, it no longer recognizes me and acts like I'm signed out of my account. It also does not let me sign in even after resetting my password. Therefore I no longer have saved places and cannot recreate them. Even worse, 2 requests to customer support come back only with the auto acknowledgement of receipt and no further follow up after 7+ days.
1 ★I used this app every time I was on the road. Now it doesn't work! So upset! Is there any plan to fix it?
1 ★It's a joke because it will not load. It just sits there spinning around and around like it is loading for the length of the trip. And finally you get fed up and go to a different traffic monortoring system. If you are going to have a product on the market at least make it work instead of loading and never getting loaded. I would rate this website at a minus 15. Hope you get it fixed soon.
1 ★Used to like this allot but now there is an issue. I keep getting logged out of the app about every other day. It never used to log out. The real big problem is tbe lack of customer service. I emailed twice to support and no response. I tried through the app store in tbe app description and that is a dead link. Really disappointed. Given up on this app, Inrix apparently does not give a damn about it.
