Description

This app is meant to be used in conjunction with the Outreach Smartphone Monitoring web application. It allows monitoring parties such as police departments to monitor subjects who are under house arrest or have other location restrictions, or have blood alcohol content restrictions.

OSM features:

* "Check In" feature generates pass code and facial recognition video of offender

* "Check In" randomly programmed by monitoring party or voluntarily by offender

* "BAC" blood alcohol content feature using FDA approved, fuel cell. Bluetooth breathalyzer with video verification, BAC failure prompts UA via web application

* All breathalyzer check-in videos reviewed by OSM staff

* "Calendar" sends push notifications reminding offender of court, testing, prescriptions, events, etc

* Emphasis on decreasing "failure to appear" rates

* Active GPS location monitoring, exclusion and inclusion zones

This app is part of a system that allows monitor parties to monitor more offenders with existing staff at no cost.

1 ★Have been violated and warrant issued due to the app not properly notifying me. Sometimes it will sound and say please check in with OSM then other times my phone will be right in my lap and a I just happen to look at it and it had already went off 40 minutes ago so missed test. I have tried to explain this to my case manager and obviously she doesn't care. This is the worst app.

1 ★It doesn't always notify. You have to keep a close eye on the clock. Getting server error almost every time. I'll click connect, then it asks to press record, then it doesn't always do the warning up phase. Just asks to connect again. Location has to be on to use the app. This drains battery quick. Trustin an app this buggy to keep one out of jail is scary.

1 ★Many issues with this app, it won't detect device or load, it gives you 30 min to take your test but you spend 45 min trying to get it to connect. Next issue is system error and will freeze your phone and you have to wait to restart you phone (really bad if you can't take you Battery out) Third problem, it doesn't always notify you to take the test sometimes it says out loud to check in others it vibrates. 4th issue is testing more than 5 times a day. 5th issue is no sleep if you have a baby that wakes up anywhere from 2am to 5am and the tested you at 11:50pm the night before and 6 am that next morning leaving you with no sleep. 6th issue you must have proper lightning or they can't see you so I'm just going to stop here and say god please fix this system and stop experimenting with this idea on real life situations and just fix it before giving it to people.

1 ★I just watched my father-in-law blow and an orange exclamation mark came up. He blew again and it was a green check mark. He hasn't drank any alcohol in several months. Either the instrument was broken or this app. It was the epitome of a false positive.

3 ★I was assigned to have 5 tests a day, and their was atleast one day where I had 9 tests. Also I was told that I would never blow from 12am to 6am, but for some reason at 12:23 AM last Saturday here I was blowing yet another negative test...also I'm not being notified properly regarding my test notifications, this also acts as a gps

1 ★#1.The alert goes off and you open it to check in, and the timer has 10 seconds left on it. Most of the time its not giving you the allowed time you set up to check in. #2. If you check in out of service, and go back into service and open app IT WILL NOT SEND ALL VIDEOS!!!! #3 i have used this for 2 months and have never recived any notification of any tests, after submitting.#4 when uploading a test, video will upload to 99% then say "somthing went wrong please try again later" ? Ridiculous!

2 ★I get my notifications but when I go to check in it won't let me rocord. I have been down there 2 times and first person said it was my phone then a month later another lady said it's the program deal with it.
