A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★had this on my Motorola, but, even per suunto, it will not function on that phone. went to put on my Samsung, and it is asking for stuff it does not need. there is no reason you need access to contacts, files, pics, camera. looks like I will be getting rid of my ambit 3 because my Ionic is more useful
5 ★Been using this app with my Suunto Ambit2 watch for few years now. Works very well for my uses. The movie generation option has issues sometimes, but for general tracking of my hits, from hiking Everest Base Camp to Kilimanjaro and running full marathons, the watch and the app has met my expectations.
4 ★Movescount app use: create routes on web, sync with watch. Customize notifications. Suunto app: synchronize workouts, good to recover if not well uploaded, everything else. There's no Suunto web to create routes (much more practical than the app). Important! To be able to use Movescount you have to go to Phone settings, Apps, force stop Suunto app. Then you have full use and sync of Movescount (i have both installed as Suunto does not seems to care about what I suggested on the Suunto app)
1 ★Wanted to get smart notifications after downloaded Suunto app, but couldn't find it, reviewed a few articles that says I need to use this bloody app to do so, after downloading it I can't even log in as they telling me that my email (that I used with Suunto app previously) is not found, what a stupid service!!!!!
2 ★Doesn't work with my p20 pro; syncing is disrupted by screen timeout and fails all the time. I was using it to sync my ambit3 peak with my Sony phone it worked almost fine. And another thing is that the hr smart is not able to connect to watch and gym device simultaneously. Sad.
5 ★It does what it needs to do well. Not too many features to scatter focus on the important parts. I don't understand why the Suunto app is pushed on users just yet. The deal breaker of not being able to sync to Movescount will not let me use that until it's fixed.
5 ★I am happy with this app. Once I created a movescount profile, I just had to log in on a computer once to link my movesount app with my strava app. And from there on I just worked on my cellphone app. When I turn my Bluetooth on, it takes maximum 2 to 3 minutes to sync with my watch and the activities immediately shows and most times immediately goes through to strava, if not, it takes a few seconds. I had this app and my watch for about 3 months now. No problems yet.
2 ★Has issues with matching pool length size from watch settings to reported (watch set for 25 yards and watch totals match, upload shows 24 yards and upload totals based on 24yard lengths) Only shows a graph for split/pace times ( does not show pace per mile ect.) Watch connection has improved over previous releases
1 ★Take ages (between 30-60min) to sync one activity; no option for background syncing available and thus can't use phone for other things. Frustrating to change screens as syncing takes so long. Once it synced it is load to strava (benefit) but details on movescount app and strava usually doesn't agree.
1 ★Cannot change sport modes settings(autopause for example) . It's all off and when I put it on and validate when I come back it switched to off. Also I do not have any sound on my ambit 3 sport even though the settings are on for the sound. The synchronization is taking a long time.
1 ★Why does it keep losing Bluetooth? I sync it up with my phone for notifications. And it works for a while then it loses the connection and when i try to sync it back up it will only be connected for a bit and not even show notification at all. Am i doing something wrong?
1 ★suunto's apps and instructions just plain suck. had to buy a new computer just to update my brand new watch. garbage. i can not even register Movescount....but from what i read im not missing anything. cant even find where it tracks your sleep. should have spent the $ for a Garmin😡😡
