How CBC works
Color Blind Check is based on the scientific knowledge about colors which can be seen and which not by the people who are suffering from the different types of color blindness. To get more precise results, the test is based on four different main colors and as even colorblind people are quite good in spotting brightness differences, Color Blind Check is shifting brightness constantly.
Compared to other well known tests with Color Blind Check it is NOT possible to learn something by heart and get better while retesting.
What CBC measures
CBC Score: An overall score of the test; easy to compare with others.
Duration: Elapsed time for taking the test.
Severity: A severity score between 0 (not colorblind) and 100 (strong color vision deficiency).
PDT Score (Type): A specific score (protan-deutan-tritan) showing the type.

5 ★I utterly bombed this test (99/100 strong protan) and it took nearly the full test duration since I could hardly find the colors. My friend nearly aced the test and it only took a minute for him. Hope this test gets official recognition!
4 ★Seems easy, fast, could see it being treated like a game by children, all of which is great. Not a complete color vision test, however-- it seems to test for the most common types, but failed to "discover" that I can't see most purples (and see pinks as more red and/or gray than reality). ...To be fair, only one dot card test ever checked for this, either. I didn't find out until last year. But it would sure help any parents who, like my poor mother, can't fathom why their girly-girl shuns girly colors!
4 ★Unique app that quickly and easily identifies the type and degree of colour deficiency the user has (if any). The way the test works removes the fudge factor that exists in the Ishihara tests. I would have given 5 stars if your website didn't have the red download hyperlink obscured by a greenish background.

4 ★I'd give 5 stars for the functionality and zero for the language choice. Accuse me of being politically correct, but words matter. You don't call people who can see "blind". You don't call people who are typical "normal". Color does not exist out there. It exists in the brain and how it responds to wavelength. It is pejorative to term a non typical response as "not normal". Disability is a normal part of life. But the only disability here is not being typical. Typical people obuse their privilege. For what it is worth, my personal vision is typical. But your language still offends me. No one wants to offend their users. Please make the effort to not offend the population you portend to be helping.
