Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★Like everyone else, would love to support the research behind this, but the app crashes so many times, on top of it having a very difficult interface to log information in. I gave it my best for two weeks before giving up on it. Hoping for a better and improved version.
1 ★Didn't work with my Galaxy S9. I tried a few times to get s log in code, but 'something went wrong'. Uninstalled .Too bad- I was interested in the study. Also, this app seems to require a lot of permissions and personal info. I'm not too comfortsble with that, so no.
2 ★I'm frustrated with this app. I entered my food for 14 days. I was unable to view or edit until 14 days of this. The app is supposed to sync with google fit. I purchased an app to sync fitbit data to google fit, and this app seemed to be importing data, but it does not. So the app got my food, but not sleep or exercises. It looks like if you go through 14 days, you can set the app to remind you when to eat and sleep. Thats the only benefit. Not too valuable, really.
4 ★You can log everything you do from eating (describing what foods), exercise, vital health measurements (heart-rate, glucose, ketones plus many more). This info goes towards scientific research and all your logs can be seen by the user after 2 weeks. I'm 7 days into it and found it easy to log info - not too time consuming. Still a few bugs in (like random "glitch" notifications but doesn't effect its core function). Recommended if you're keen to be an anonymous test subject for genuine research
2 ★Ive been using it a little over 3 weeks, but I give up. It's probably ok if you an get over the data collection interface - it sucks - well for me anyway. It defaults are non Intuitive and if you make a mistake, it's cast in stone.
4 ★All the negative reviews are troubling. I'm on day ten of baseline and so far I am liking this app. If it loses all my data as it has done with others, I'll be back to update my review. Just to be safe, I've been using another tracker simultaneously.
2 ★Echoing many reviews - this app is a great idea, but poorly executed. The UI is confusing, and it regularly erases the timestamp I would add to a backdated entry. About 7 of my 14 baseline days were wrong, so the first report was unusable. Gave up.
1 ★It just deleted all my progress for the past two weeks and started on day 2. This app takes forever to open and I have noticed it does not record my stuff sometimes, i have to go back and add it again as well as the sleep. I was so excited about it
5 ★Some apps have a food only or excercise only option, but myCircadianClock app has it all! Weight, blood pressure, glucose levels, sleep patterns, food logs and more... What makes it even more amazing is that this app is developed to improve research on health and related topics.
5 ★Has been going well, but in the last few days, my entries have stopped adding to the log. I can see them on the day i am in. I did have a couple of days of no internet at the start of it going wrong.
1 ★After watch the documentary "Fasting" I decided to download the app. Well I download and the app never worked. Once I click to start the app it just shows it loading. I restarted my phone and also just left it alone over night thinking the needed time to load. Never worked so yeah!
1 ★Spent two whole weeks, 14 days struggling to open the app putting in data - food, water, BP, blood sugar, weight, sleep etc only to lose it all. The app has decided to restart from day 2 - This is so very very poor - I was so inspired by the book but this app is beyond hopeless
