O LibrasTI é um aplicativo criado pelo PET-SI/UFRRJ (Programa de Educação Tutorial de Sistemas de Informação da Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro) em parceria extensionista com o NAPNE (Núcleo de Apoio às Pessoas com Necessidades Específicas) do IFSC Campus Chapecó do Instituto Federal de Santa Catarina - Campus Chapecó. O aplicativo tem o objetivo de promover a inclusão de surdos no campo tecnológico através da popularização e difusão da tecnologia da informação.Segundo o CENSO de 2010 do IBGE, 5% da população brasileira. O LibrasTI é um aplicativo que utiliza vídeos de termos em LIBRAS da área da Computação. O LibrasTI é totalmente livre de custos e voltado para a plataforma Android, ele não requer conexão com a Internet, podendo ser utilizado em qualquer lugar por qualquer pessoa.
LibrasTI traz uma contribuição no âmbito educacional, inclusivo e técnico ao oportunizar a alunos, professores, profissionais da área ou até mesmo ao usuário comum o contato com um conteúdo especializado em Tecnologia da Informação voltado para pessoas surdas.
