Description

New Bond users are strongly encouraged to use the new Bond Home app, not this app. This app does not support Local API, SmartThings, Control4, and other local integrations.

This version of the Bond mobile app is designed to support our Bond Bridge product (BD-1000). If you are using one of our Smart by Bond products, please download the latest Bond Home app (version v2 and up) on the Play Store. We will be updating the new Bond Home app to support the Bond Bridge product and all users will be notified upon official release.

This app requires the Bond Bridge (BD-1000) in order to control appliances with remote controls. Bond can control appliances with RF based remote controls such as ceiling fans. Bond works with your Amazon Alexa and Google Home.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★The fan remote worked with just one try. the aircondisioner (beta) worked well, but there is only a mode button to program, while my a/c remote has one button for each function (cool, fan only, energy saver and auto temp). Very happy with this app, looking forward to the future implementations.
4 ★I worked right out of the box, it took me a little while to find the right model to match my Hampton Bay remotes but at the end it worked. I linked it with my Google Home Assistant and I worked like a charm. I even moved it downstairs thinking that it would not reach my fans upstairs but it did. I highly recommend it
5 ★I use Amazon Echo to voice command the fan, fan speed and light. While the light doesn't dim as much for my tastes I don't use that feature. I have used the Bond app too and find no difference using the app or the Amazon Echo for controlling the fan/light. That being said Bond works perfectly for me.
4 ★Had to chat with support to get it connected to my network via the web browser on my Google Pixel 2 XL phone because the app itself wouldn't connect. Docked a star for that. After that, it's perfect. Love controlling my two Harbor Breeze ceiling fans through Google Assistant via my phone and Google Home speakers and Google Home Hub. I even added a command to my Google Assistant good night routine that automatically turns off my living room fan when I tell my Google Home speaker good night and turns it back on when I tell my speaker good morning. Well done, for the most part, Olibra!
5 ★I am having some difficulty with one of three remotes. Worked great for one fan, without a light, and one gas fireplace on/off remote. Customer service has been great and they put a team of engineers on solving the problem of a fan remote with a dimmer light remote.
5 ★Almost all home devices are smart now. Almost all. Want to control your dumb ceiling fans? Bond brings brains to your thoughtless devices. My favorite part is the seamless integration with Echo devices. You don't have to say anything other than normal commands. My anymote device requires me to say Alexa, tell anymote to...
3 ★Works but .. Alexa skill still can't handle dimming the lights and no fix yet. Light control through Alexa is toggle and simply flips current state but knows not what it is. If you turn light off through Alexa but it was off to start with - yep, it turns on. Great idea but needs lotsa work.
1 ★doesn't work most of the time. update - I have Amazon echo in every room in the house. I use Kasa app GE Hue lights everywhere wifi gage for my oil tank and thermostat. this is the only device that doesn't work for me . waste of money.
2 ★The app doesn't consistently control my two fans. It also isn't able to mirror all functions of the fan remote, like dimming. Although there is a dimmer button in the bond app configured for my two fans, the button doesn't dim the light on either fan.
2 ★Interface is very poor, would like all fans on one scrolling page. Device is good and connects to other apps, so get one! Why limit to 6 devices though? Why limit device type? Wish it was just an RF learning bridge... just leave it at that.
4 ★I bought the Bond Bridge to give voice commands to my bedroom ceiling fan. The bridge works fine... Voice commands for fan abd fan light work great. It will not dim the light via voice, but you can dim the light via bond App. Would recommend
3 ★it will be more helpful if Bond app can have the Power ON and Power OFF button individually. most of the devices remote come with the same ON/OFF button but can only programme to turn ON but cant turn OFF in the app. Please help rectify it. Thanks.
