2 ★Really needs work on printing what you see. I find that I need to boost the colour on the picture for it to come out normal looking. I don't expect it to be the highest quality print but it really should print what you see or at least allow us to build profiles for spific phones. Or maybe make the drivers available to developers.
2 ★Not sure about the printing because I haven't tried that yet. My biggest issue is with this app needing access to my contacts, mic, phone, sms, etc. This seems like they're just mining you for info so they can sell it advertisers. If you have android 6.0 or above you should make sure you're disabling this apps permissions to access parts of your phone you don't think it need access too. As far as I can tell, it needs access to the camera, files and blue tooth.
3 ★It does its job, but the user interface is clunky. Color editing - quite important - is absolutely pathetic and reminds me of 1990s windows 3.1 photo editing. I wish I could 'share to' the app rather than import from gallery. But, nevertheless, works and makes people happy.
1 ★Not sure what's happened to the app, but it now crashes each time I try to print. I hope this gets fixed as I now have an expensive brick and a load of paper, which I'd bought on offer that I can't now use and it's too late to get refunded. The printer is a great just get the app sorted so I can use it. As it hasn't been updated in over a year. Very disappointed!!
1 ★This app is one poor excuse of an app. If you guys at Polaroid want to stay in business I suggest you get you act together. It is updated and paired but as soon as you choose a photo the app closes.... 1 in 20 tries gets you a print. The constant crashing really gets old.
2 ★First I really didn't read the manual at the beginning(lazy)bec. I was watching alot of people in youtube how to use it. So, I started using it and it works great but when I tried to use the collage part I noticed that I have BORDER in the MIDDLE of the picture. When you print it, it's still there. I tried everything, go back check the youtube if I am doing it wrong, or maybe I hit something. But nothing. I uninstall the apps and install it again. I don't like the border. How to take it out? I dunno.help
1 ★FIX: I STILL hate this app, but here's how to still use your printer. Turn on your bluetooth and wait until you see the list of devices available. Tap on "Polaroid ZIP" and select "Print". Note that I can only print one pic at a time. ♢♢♢♢♢♢♢♢♢ ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have a Note 5, android marshmallow OS and this app is terrible. 70% of the time it's telling me to check the power of the Zip when it's fully charged and it won't connect to the Zip on bluetooth at all. So, I basically have a brick 70% of the time.
1 ★After many hours calling T-Mobile, polaroid, Samsung, sending back to polaroid thinking the units Bluetooth was corrupt, I learned s7 and zip are not compatible. If someone knows better, please advise. I've done clear cache, install/uninstall/reset many times, paired, not connected.
1 ★Sometimes I forget how bad this app is... and then I open it again. The interface is not user friendly and kind of sad. I'm usually able to print just fine but on several occasions the app has stopped functioning. It is VERY frustrating when this happens. Thusfar I've been able to just put the Zip away when the app stops working and revisit it in a few weeks (or months) and the app will print again. I can't understand why Polaroid won't update the app. It needs help. The print quality is okay (the colors aren't true to the digital form but that was expected) however, I'm rating the app not the actual Zip.
1 ★Got it as a gift. So exited. We printed few pics with just few crushes of the app. Thought it's because of unsupported format of the photo but just second day and it keeps crushing almost every time! The app is very poor, not offering any interesting modifications. Over all hugely disappointed!! Wouldn't expect from Polaroid. Fix it!
1 ★This is just a piece of s*** expensive device with low quality, app interface is horrible, if you can somehow in gods name get it out of idle or busy itll only print one photo taken from the camera and only from the camera. Then its back to busy and a paper weight. So you're better off buying a another mini printer or an actual polaroid camera that prints the actual photo you take from iy. Piece of s*** is getting returned for my money back.
1 ★Bought this and have managed 6 pics. Telling me battery is low but indicating half full. I have wasted more paper than enough when it stops printing in the middle of pics. The battery is nearly full. Love the concept but the app and printer don't work together. Thinking of returning it.
