1 ★My messages don't update, they keep previous state, I receive notifications but when I click on them, nothing my messages are ancient. I have to uninstall the app, re-download to read new messages from users. I'm on beta version, please, I don't want the last version of this app but the Lastest Stable to avoid this problem.
2 ★Ads is everywhere now. Too much ads appears in a whole screen. And that's pretty amazing. I think that's a great job that you ever made since you've been started. This happen for the 1st time. And seems like you're innovating that you're making money now unlike before you have less ads that is not capturing the whole screen. And it's really worth to remove my 5star from you that I gave you before and make it 2stars for such amazing whole screen ads. I think you deserve it. Sorry! I just greatly dislike whole screen video ads. More power! More money!
2 ★What a completely trash app. Requires severe and tremendous improvements in every single tiny little thing about it. Starting from the smallest of features up until core and major app and policies, everything needs to be revamped and rectified. The iOS app is way better but even that isn't flawless, and the Android one is nothing but a buggy garbage.
1 ★What happened with this app I don't understand it is not even sending msgs and not approving any pictures
2 ★I have been a paid member of Romeo (including under its previous names) for 10 years. Until recently, I have found it to be one of the better gay dating sites and I like that it one can still use it via a website and so a computer, and not just via an app. Unfortunately, when my current subscription expires, not only will I not be renewing the paid subscription but I will be deleting my profile. There are lots of minor reasons but collectively, Romeo is no longer a quality site / app. Examples: One can no longer search matches across the city but only radiating from the point where you are physically located. In a large city like London, this is really irritating because you are effectively restricted to guys local to you. It is a pain to try to search guys across the city. Despite paying for a premium membership, one only has 29 seconds to read a profile before the “hide your visit” button deactivates. Even paid members’ messages automatically delete after a week or so. Received messages can only be saved by manually saving each one. Sent messages cannot be saved at all. I mean, why?! The app is buggy and frequently doesn’t synchronize with what you have done (messages sent & received etc) on the website. Apart from the features getting steadily worse, the other reason I have decided to delete my profile is the poor support when you report a bug. I have been disappointed with the poor response from Romeo. There are a good number of decent guys on Romeo so it is a shame that Romeo’s site, app, and customer service have become so poor that they have lost a paying customer.
5 ★Normally I don't pay for apps, but Romeo I'd just cheap enough to not care and pay for the good cause. Grindr on the other hand is extremely expensive, I would never purchased at those prices. But 5 euro per month is affordable and I like the yearly payments with bankcontact.i only miss a way to search for couples looking for other couples or threesome's. That's the only important feature that is missing.
1 ★This app is supposed to have a huge potential. But there are lots of bugs: •It keeps on notifying me that I need to verify my email which I already did (Though fixable) •Profile Picture takes forever to be classified (I'm not sure if this is a bug. Hmm) Suggestion: •Should've add a feature where you are invisible in this current distance, location, or country as it is very needed for discreet guys like me. Don't care if I need to pay for it. Privacy and security is worth more than a dime.
4 ★I don't receive most of the notifications if I don't open the app / sometimes i get one about a footprint, and when i go to the visitors page i don't see any (and I've to close and reopen the app to see it / video chat is not working for me / overall the app is great, so 4 stars is fair 'cause nothing is perfect :) (i got the uncut version)
1 ★Buggy. I uploaded photos several days ago but still have the "uploading" notification and in-app banner even after restarting my phone. Lots of profiles 4-5K miles away; there are only 50 within 10 miles from me in a major US city. I don't think there are actual human accounts. Editing the "About Me" keeps blanking itself… which could explain the empty profiles.
3 ★The app is ok but search filters are terrible. I live close to an international border and can't refine the search to only show my country. Because of this I can't see matches 100km away in my country because all I see are guys across the border.
2 ★It has used to be a good app . Now too many fake profiles. A lot of those who put London in their location, are hundreds of miles away, often in Russia, asking for your email right after the first hello. I don't believe the developers are actually doing anything about it. Instead, they give you a limit of users you can block and ask to pay for extra. And this limit runs out in a day if you check every message you receive.
1 ★It has plenty of features and active users in Europe but I am regularly marked as spam (other people don't get my message and according to a friend I don't even show up on the search radar). I tried creating a new profile but that also didn't help and I didn't get a response from the support so far. It has only been a couple of days but I don't see any reason in using an app where you don't know when your messages will go through and when not.
