Description
大衆報於1933年7月18日創刊，是澳門現存中文日報中歷史最長久的報紙。抗戰期間堅持民族立場，新中國成立後長期秉持愛國愛澳辦報方針。創刊社長陳天心。抗戰期間，大衆報與學術界、體育界、音樂界等組成“四界救災會”，以多種形式籌款支援國內抗戰。1947年至1948年一度停刊，1948年由蔡凌霜主持復刊。1973年3月蔡淩霜病逝，蔡克銘繼任社長；1974年11月改用柯式印刷。1982年首設中文報章葡文版，1984年增闢珠海特區版，陸續發行至珠海、中山等地，1996年獲中國台灣文化部批准在中國台灣公開發行，2023年獲國務院港澳辦批准在珠海設立記者站。1993年起黃宇光接任社長，全面使用電腦照排系統及彩色印刷，每天出紙兩大張。2020年9月，黃宇光出任董事會主席，胡根接任社長。
