A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Awesome!
1 ★A steaming pile of garbage. This app doesn't work with my printsubscription, I get banners offering me a subscription when I am already apaying customer, I can't download issues (displays "no internet" on thescreen untill I force stop it). This app is flat out broken and seeminglyforgotten by Popular Science. Save your time and don't download it.
1 ★I have spent a lot of time following the instructions, but like others all I ever get to is a page where I can buy magazines. I just purchased a two year subscription which was supposed to give me access to the digital app on 3 devices. I am throwing in the towel on the app as a total failure and hope the magazine issues make up for the loss of the digital pathway. Very disappointed. steve berg
1 ★Bought a 2 year subscription via web before installing Android app.Successfully logged into app but cannot download current edition withoutapp wanting to charge for it. There is nothing in the Help section forcurrent subscribers. This app is not yet ready for use by subscribers.
1 ★How can this possibly be a popsci app? This is a wasted opportunity toexpand popsci to the average cellphone web user. I can understand the needto use subscriptions, but there is no trial, nor even access to oldarticles with ads in place. There isn't even an in app version of thepopsci website. Whomever designed/commissioned this app didn't have anyimagination, nor an innovative ambition like what is often discussed inpopsci articles. Everything I mentioned is readily online, for free. Googlehas free articles for free from the last hundred years barring the recentyear. The popsci website has selected articles with ads that anyone canaccess. Dozens of websites offer a free trial for the magazine. So whatdoes this app do? The one thing the app does do, which is give digitalversions of popsci magazine prescriptions, is universally remarked asunusable in other reviews. Its just so terribly depressing to see it failso miserably. Take my hints popsci. You can do so much better to expandyour user base.
3 ★Had to carefully follow instructions but got signed in. This is just toview magazines for subscribers. Probably easier viewing on a tablet.
1 ★Paid for a subscription, the app would not open the issues and I can't get a refund. Ripoff.
1 ★Simply a way for them to sell their magazine. All I found was "buy this issue" and "subscribe for $14.99". No free articles to make you want to buy the magazine.
1 ★App won't allow me access to my subscription. Utter garbage.
1 ★Doesn't work on my s9+. I've already paid for a full year's subscription, and I keep getting the grey wheel of death. Nothing loads in this app
