A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew
1 ★One of the worst user interfaces ever
1 ★I cant select the feature jr pass so uninstalled
5 ★It saved my day.
2 ★The Japan Trains app is able to find routes that this app can't find, and it is free to search rail pass JR shinkansen lines. The results show travel options that I exclude from the search results. I bought the rail pass unlock code and removed flight options from my search but my top results are still for routes that use airlines. I can search the same options in Japan Trains and it shows the correct route. The app layout also needs to be improved as it is not difficult to read than it should be.
4 ★We recently traveled by train throughout Japan for 3 weeks. This app was incredibly helpful and made figuring out all of the different trains, tracks, and schedules so easy. Also, the ability to see which train fares are covered by the JR Pass was great. The app is not the most intuitive, the only reason I'm giving 4 stars, but once you figure it out you won't regret paying for it. This was the only app we needed for train travel on our trip, just used Google Maps for figuring out which stations to use.
5 ★The app performed nearly flawlessly for the entirety of my family's trip. All times and, more importantly, tracks were accurate. This made it simple to make any necessary transfers and was critical to us as we were travelling with suitcases and a large stroller and thus required elevators at each station. I can't recommend it enough.
4 ★Helped greatly in my three weeks of travel across Japan. Very useful for calculating travel times, cost and potential routes. Would rate five starts if not for some lack in user friendliness. The app does not make searching for stations as easy as others do. Stations with hyphens or spaces in the name will not even register in the search. Therefore, you end up searching multiple variations until you spell it exactly as the app chooses to, even if it is spelled differently on the station signage.
3 ★To the idiot who complained about having to buy another pass on top of the JR Pass: It's a subscription pass to use the app, NOT another train pass!! Please make sure you have at least 100 IQ before attempting high technology.
4 ★This app has helped my friends and I during our trip to multiple cities in Japan. It's not without it's flaws, as it can be confusing to use at first, but if you can navigate yourself through the screens, you tend to get used to it. My friends and I have successfully used this app to determine which trains we needed to get on through our JR Rail pass. We've traveled from Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Hiroshima with this app with rarely any hiccups. Definitely recommend this app when traveling by rail 👍.
2 ★I remember the app was decent when I used it a year and a half ago with Samsung galaxy s2. Now I have an ulefone be one and it crashes whenever I try starting the app. Might be a problem with the phone / os (kitkat).
3 ★This app has a problem where it will not show me the menu button to buy the Rail Pass Search Coupon on my Galaxy S7 edge. In order to purchase the coupon I had to ...open settings, select accessibility, select Dexterity and Interaction, then turn on the assistant menu. I then had to open the HyperDia app, then press the assistant menu and hit the "More Options" button from the menu. I could then buy the coupon. This was too much work and the app could use an update.
4 ★Must have for someone who doesn't speak Japanese. Takes a bit of getting used to, and the English translation could be better. But wow it made it so much easier to figure out how to get from point A to point B. The extra $$ for the rail pass option is worth it.
