1 ★If I can rate it by 0 I would. They're backup was only limited to the camera and videos from the phone. The other photos stored on your phone won't be included. I cannot retrieve those precious photos anymore since i reset the phone and was too confident it was copied and back up. Pls never use huawei cloud service. It is no use.
1 ★Unable to make changes to app. I don't want backup. It has permissions that I am unable to.change.or even uninstall.
1 ★Not recommended to use it, untill existing issue is not resolved. Experienced, very much bad. The new update which has been released on 30 Sep 19 is very much bad. Now icon of the app is no longer available. Then how a user can backup his sms, calls or other apps etc on SD Card? Whereas, there is only option to backup his data on Google drive, which is not recommended by everyone. So resolve this issue immediately, please.
2 ★I bought this Huawei cellphone about 4 months ago but wasn't sure which backup to use. The backup that came with the phone or the manufacturer's backup. On 09/16/2019 my phone automatically backed itself up using the manufacturer's app. Oddly, it states that I needed to create a login before using which of course I didn't. If I needed to create a login, why did it do it automatically? I've been suspicious of my cellphone ever since because of the reputation they've gotten recently because of all
2 ★To all users. Do not update to any version greater than 9. You will be forced to use encryption. That is not an option. (Use encryption, forget password, useless backup). The app does not backup everything, Smart Remote for example. I had to stick with the latest version of 9 series. Otherwise the application works great for me.
4 ★Excellent and does what it must as described. Well done Huawei. I am upset that photos from gallery and other related photographic data can't be backed up to cloud as it says "not available in your country/region". Please get this up and running. I'd like to be able to synchronize all my photos across all my Huawei devices and computer through Huawei instead of doing manual and Google drive backups. Please see into this. I'm from South Africa.
1 ★If you, like me, think that when it backs up apps that it also remember the settings, you'd be mistaken. If you backup you photos to the cloud, like I do, then this app doesn't really serve a purpose. Edit: Not to mention that now I cannot even restore the backup as I get an error on the computer: "The Backup app is running on your device. Close it and try again". Needless to say, closing it does not help.
3 ★Was a great app - easy and strong - but getting worse recently. 1. Please bring back the option to back up without encryption. I want to be able to get back at least some of my data even without Huawei device / app. 2. Please bring back the desktop icon. It's really annoying to search for the backup app throughout the settings.
1 ★Wish I could give a zero rating... Cannot backup/connect my P10 to the latest Windows app no matter what I do. All settings set as required but app doesn't connect to phone at all, so I can't access/backup my data via HiSuite. Highly upset!!! Also can't seem to access it directly either, nor get it to backup via my WiFi. Next step laborious manual copying over of individual files to an SD card - I will NEVER buy a Huawei again!
2 ★It was a great app, but with the updates it has had some bugs. I have a Huawei phone and it doesn't work properly. With older versions I had things that now doesn't work, such as: 1: An icon on the desktop 2: Ability to backup WiFi names and passwords 3: Ability to backup App data Any of the numerous updates (since 2018 aprox) has fixed that bugs. PS: My phone is a Huawei P8 Lite (2015) with EMUI 4.0.3
1 ★After having to change to another phone this year, I realized that all my backups from 2019 and 2020 have errors or incomplete data. That never happened before, with that version when the program icon was still there. I trusted you and you made me loose so much important data! Older version was better. Even Android itself.
1 ★So now I can't do a backup as the option to choose where to backup to, e. G. My SD card, doesn't appear any longer. UPDATE: I uninstalled the app from the play store screen, reinstalled it and presto! - the functionality returned - until I updated the update at which point the options to update to external storage or SD card disappeared again. Also, in what universe do you get the screens that you show above? No response to any of these complaints. Typical, I fear.
