Description
Foundational capabilities of scan to refill and medication delivery status will allow a nurse to engage with Omnicare efficiently throughout the day without repeatedly calling and faxing the pharmacy. This new tool helps the pharmacy refill orders more efficiently, increases medication availability and customer satisfaction, and allows for more attention to patient care.This new app will set a precedent in long-term care pharmacy by empowering facility staff to complete critical pharmacy transactions from a mobile device.
• The convenient scan-to-refill functionality saves times and provides nurses with the information they need to most effectively manage care for their patients.
• Each nurse will have a custom display of orders that are currently in process at their servicing pharmacy allowing them to monitor progress and easily identify potential delays in medication availability
• Nurses currently using Omniview, our industry leading pharmacy portal, simply download the App to the device, login with their existing Omniview user ID and password to start scanning refills.
• Nurses not currently registered with Omniview will need to complete the Omniview Registration in order to use the Omniview Rx app.
