Porsche Car Connect – Remote display and control of your new Porsche car

Starting from model year 2014, Porsche Car Connect now brings you the ability to remotely access your new Porsche from your smartphone. This requires that your Porsche is equipped with a Porsche Car Connect unit. Depending on your country, your model and the options installed, you will be able e.g. to remotely locate the position of your car, fold exterior mirrors, set timers for charging, read the tire pressure or set a geo and speed fence.

Porsche Car Connect is available for Panamera (starting from model year 2014), 918 Spyder, Macan, Cayenne (model year 2014), 911 (991 Facelift), 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman, and requires a Porsche Car Connect unit in your vehicle.
The functionality of this app varies depending on your country of residence as well as on the options available in your vehicle.

1 ★Constantly crashes after installing android 11 on Samsung s10 lite ,only way to get it to work is to reinstall the app and not close it down, worked fine for 1yr no problem

1 ★This app is useless. You have to pay money to get the code into the car and all you can do is lock the car and find my car. That sucks even with my chevy app I could unlock my car. They need to get with the times. I dont need to know were my car is. Not worth the money!!! To get the special code!

1 ★Why isn't anyone from Porsche HQ passing on this customer feedback to the developer of this app to fix the problems that have already been highlighted? What a terrible, disappointing customer experience. Like everyone else the 'Remote' feature crashes the app immediately on my Samsung S8+ (running latest software).

1 ★App crashes everytime on my Android version 10 handset. So I am unable to use the remote features for my car. The rating of the app is very poor. Seriously Porsche we don't pay £100k for a car to expect a car app that doesn't work. Pull yr finger out and fix!!! Who ever is incharge of market research pull yr head out of yr ass, not all Porsche owners are iPhone users. The marketing for the app is mis-selling because it doesn't work. So pls fix it!

1 ★Once I put in the activation code App started crashing (Samsung Galaxy S10. Dealer tried to fix it and phoned in but was told that developer was working on it a week ago. What kind of junk has Porsche bought into.

1 ★Same issue as others will not work on Samsung S20 note ultra running android 11. Loads first time then fails.

3 ★For Android 11+ this app seems to require a cache/ storage flush and reactivation. As per most of the complaints here I had a non functional app for some time and customer support were useless until they recently suggested this. My app works fine again on Android 11.

1 ★App no longer opens since Android 11 (on Pixel 4XL). Was the case on 10/09/2020, and it still is on 01/27/2021.

5 ★Amazing tool i use it to pre-heat/cool my car on a time in the mornings, check my fuel before a trip, set a geofence if im travelling etc. I use a blackberry key2 and it works perfectly. I also use the other porsche app to pre-set satnav destinations.

1 ★Samsung s20 ultra app crashes after 1st use. The clearing all data and cache only way back. Non functional please fix this.
