平日視力保健之道
1.日常生活要有規律、睡眠充足、不熬夜，避免生氣、壞情緒，以免讓眼壓升高。
感覺眼睛疲勞時，可用熱毛巾輕敷眼部，來減緩眼部疲勞。
2.盡量避免讓眼睛從事長時間近距離的工作，工作30分到50分鐘後閉目養神、或往遠處眺望綠色景物或作短距離的散步休息10分鐘。
3.保持眼睛清爽、乾淨，而且不可未洗手就揉搓眼睛容易病菌感染。
4.閱讀寫字時光線應充足、姿勢要端正，光源最好來自左後方，姿勢要端正，頭不要偏左或偏右。與書面應距離30公分，不能躺著看書，閱讀一小時後，要讓眼睛休息5至10分鐘；且不可在暗處、陽光直射處看書寫字。
6.電視放置高度在眼睛平行線下方約15°。看電視距離是電視畫面對角線的六至八倍。角度是在電視中央線的30°之內，以避免輻射線。看電視時，室內應維持50米燭光的光度。以防睫狀肌痙攣變成近視。
7.定期找合格專業醫師接受視力檢查，需矯正或配戴眼鏡時，應找合格專業醫師做矯正、配戴眼鏡，以確保眼睛健康。
8.注意均衡的營養，並多攝取含豐富維生素A、D及蛋白質的食物，但忌吃油膩、辛辣的食物；此外，具有明目效果的中藥有決明子、枸杞、地黃等。
9.白天在大太陽底下時，最好戴太陽眼鏡，以保護眼睛，但必須挑選品質優良的太陽眼鏡。
