饗す（あるじす/ARGIS）是日本古語，有款待客人的涵義，從這個古語發想，創造了『アルジス』這個概念品牌。
為了符合成本多數的品牌都移往低成本及大量生產的某些國家，
卻忽略的日本工匠對於商品的細膩精神。
因此2009年秋天我們開始思考及面對這個問題，
並決定要做一個『全日本製』的鞋子品牌。
剛開始我們不知該從何開始，
但經過多方的幫助，終於這樣的想法能夠實現，
『アルジス』就是我們的自信之作。
ARGIS的鞋子，
從皮革鞣製、上色、裁斷、大底黏合及最後的整理拋亮鞋面‧‧‧等全部的製程都於日本國內完成，
ARGIS希望專業工匠們按部就班組合著鞋子的每個部份，
再加上日本民族對於細節在乎的精神，兩者互相完美配合，
打造出高品質的鞋子，
表達出我們款待每一位來試穿鞋子客人的心意，
用這樣的使命注入品牌的核心。
我們想追求的是每位客戶購買時滿足的『笑容及喜悅』。
可以負擔得起，一雙很不錯的鞋子。
每一次穿它，都會覺得是一雙好鞋。
不知道何時開始，已經無法換穿其它。
這就是『ARGIS』的自信作品。
