Menschen in verschiedenen Lebensstadien und Situationen haben aus oft unterschiedlichen Gründen ein unmittelbares Bedürfnis, eine öffentlich zugängliche Toilette in kurzer Zeit zu finden. Deswegen haben wir die PATIO Spots App entwickelt. Die App ist ein Helfer im täglichen Umgang mit dringenden Situationen - zum Beispiel wenn es einmal ganz schnell gehen muss.Benutzer*innen können WC-Anlagen in ihrer umliegenden Umgebung finden, bewerten und jederzeit selbst neue Orte hinzufügen, um so auch andere über eine zugängliche Toilette zu informieren. Gemeinsam können wir dazu beitragen, dass z.B. ein Ausflug in eine neue Stadt keine Herausforderung mehr darstellt oder umfangreiche vorherige Planung erfordert. Aber auch andere Orte, die zum Austauschen und Orientieren anregen, wie zB Selbsthilfegruppen sowie Standorte, an denen eine Behandlung erfolgen kann, können von jede*r Benutzer*in erfasst und empfohlen werden. Damit bietet die App einen guten Überblick über wichtige Anlaufstellen und zeigt unter Umständen auch neue Orte, die zur verbesserten Lebensqualität beitragen können.
Das Projekt “PATIO” wird am Ludwig Boltzmann Institut Applied Diagnostics gemeinsam mit Forschenden aus dem akademischen Bereich und Selbsthilfegruppen umgesetzt. Unser Ziel ist es dabei, den Alltag mit Hilfe eines digitalen Kommunikationswerkzeugs für Betroffene zu erleichtern. Die Initiative “PATIO” wird derzeit durch das Open Innovation in Science Center der Ludwig Boltzmann Gesellschaft unterstützt.
Die interaktive App und die User Community laufen auf der Citizen Science Plattform SPOTTERON auf www.spotteron.app.

How to install PatioSpots APK on Android phone or tablet?
