Description
Lock 2 Twente (L2T) realiseert de uitbreiding van sluis Eefde. Via deze App informeert L2T bewoners, bedrijven, vaarweggebruikers en andere belanghebbenden. De App bevat het laatste nieuws, projectinformatie, planning, stremmingen, foto's en videos. Ook is het mogelijk om meldingen te doen, vragen te stellen of direct contact op te nemen met L2T.Het sluizencomplex bij Eefde vormt vanaf de IJssel de toegangspoort naar de Twentekanalen. Het totale hoogteverschil tussen Eefde en Enschede is 21 meter. Om dat verschil te overbruggen heeft het Twentekanaal drie schutsluizen. Het kanaal is tussen Eefde en Lochem inmiddels verdiept en daardoor bevaarbaar voor grotere schepen met een aflaaddiepte van 3,50 m. Met de bouw van de tweede sluiskolk in Eefde, naast de bestaande sluis, kunnen deze schepen met een grotere diepgang het kanaal in de toekomst bevaren. De uitvoering start in het najaar van 2017, de prognose voor de eindoplevering is augustus 2020
Het projectteam van L2T is actief sinds december 2016. In L2T werken de TBI-ondernemingen Mobilis en Croonwolter & Dros samen. TBI is een groep van ondernemingen die de leefomgeving op een duurzame manier vernieuwt, inricht en onderhoudt. De groep kenmerkt zich als een wendbare netwerkorganisatie.
