A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★A very simple app for a simple security solution, but feel it's missing afew features like removing members, giving members different access rights,or linking to Google Home
2 ★It a pain when it goes off all the time when your out the house
5 ★Awesome!!
5 ★Great hardware great app. Simple and effective.
2 ★Not a stable and reliable app at all ! Doesn't update activity real timeand sometimes does not update at all for days together. when we step outtrusting the app will be armed, it has stayed disarmed for days. sotechnically no use of having it in the house as it won't buzz even if thehouse is burgled. second thing to put off is no dedicated phone line forcustomer service. email is ok but some times response takes more than 24hours so in reality you might exchange over 10 to 12 emails on one issuefor a number of days. I am doing that right now with the email service. 6themail since 4 days ! Doomed.
5 ★I invested in cocoon due to the amount of break-in's around my area, so far I'm happy with cocoon.
2 ★Recently I have noticed the cocoon does not arm itself when everyone leaves the house due to the app not recording when people come and go. Contacted cocoon about this over a week ago but they have not responded. I am tired of checking if it has armed and asking everyone to fiddle with the app to make cocoon arm itself and feel this was a waste of money because it is not protecting my home. Sort it out Cocoon. You should have a telephone number customers can call for support. Poor service and an intermittently dodgy app. Had Cocoon contacted me I would not have left this review
4 ★Good product and service
4 ★The concept is great but the only thing I have an issue with is that when something happens within the home I receive a notification but it doesn't stay on the notification bar, unlike Facebook or email. So unless I'm actually looking at the screen at the moment the camera starts recording I don't know that there is an incident. I'm running a S7 edge and have given all permissions to the app.
3 ★I like the idea in principle but it doesn't work in execution. The concept of having a device that intelligently listens for threats is exceptional, but assessing that yourself is too difficult. Ultimately the user is faced with determining if Cocoon has spotted a threat through only the camera alone. For this to work there are several things that need to happen 1) you must be free and in a position to view the alert, or not driving or on holiday 2) you must be able to stream the video without delays or too much buffering 3) you must be able to see the threat from the camera 4) the camera must be positioned in a place where you will most likely see a threat and assume you are correct. I'm waiting to see what Cocoon to remedy these pitfalls. With that aside there are still user experience issues which make this device a chore to use. Changed WiFi? Changed email address? Changed phone? Then you'll need to reset your Cocoon and setup not only yourself again but any other guests added to the Cocoon. A real pain in the neck if you have to do all three of these things at different times. And lastly you're not protected by an alarm when you go to bed. This was something that was advertised while Co pin was being advertised but no such feature exists to this date. You could arm it manually but you have to remember to do this and also turn it off otherwise Cocoon will record inaccurate data about the nor.al behaviour of your house. And there's no way to get around this by using an IoT service and Cocoon doesn't support IFTTT or Stringify.
1 ★I don't trust it. It often doesn't tell me when people have entered my home who I haven't given access to
5 ★Had my Cocoon since Christmas never had a false alarm works great
