El distanciamiento entre el ciudadano y sus instituciones ha permeado durante años reflejándose en los bajos niveles de participación. Como consecuencia los guatemaltecos vivimos bajo un sistema plagado de corrupción. Además, la información sobre qué hace el gobierno y cómo la hace, no es accesible a todo público y muchas veces no es fácil de comprender.
