❇️ The Immigration Reform Now! "Panic Button" feature (Patent Pending) is an easy access Panic Button that the user can press to quickly let family and friends know that something (such as a raid or being personally picked up) is occurring. This supports unlimited text messages and emails to your friends and family!
❇️ The Immigration Reform Now! "Follow" feature is made up of live Twitter feeds and allows you follow the topic of immigration without having to sign up for Twitter (yes, that is right, no Twitter account needed!). Currently we are able to remotely blacklist tweets, handles, and hashtags that are offensive and soon you will also be able to manage your own blacklists from within the app! #UndocumentedAndUnafraid!
❇️ The Immigration Reform Now! "Discuss" feature (Coming Soon!) is a chat room where supporters of immigrants and immigration reform can get together and communicate with one another. You'll be able to talk in an open chat room or have one-on-one discussions. #HereToStay!
❇️ The Immigration Reform Now! "Watch" feature allows the user to watch inspiring immigration related video content. If there are videos that you feel should be added or removed then please reach out to us! We plan to add content regularly so check back in the app often.
❇️ The Immigration Reform Now! "Listen" feature allows you to listen to the "Maeve in America: Immigration IRL" podcast directly from within the app. We chose this podcast because (1) it highlights immigration stories of people from all over the World and (2) because it is often uplifting as it adds an element of humor.
❇️ The Immigration Reform Now! "Art" feature spotlights immigration inspired art from the likes of Ernesto Yerena Montejano, Shepard Fairey, Alberto Ledesma, and Julio Salgado. If you would like your art to appear in the app then just shoot us an email and we'd be happy to add it! If you'd like for your art to be removed then same deal, just let us know! Soon we will also be featuring immigration related photography, poetry, and quotes!
❇️ The Immigration Reform Now! "Community" feature (Coming Soon!) allows the user to Report Raids, View Reported Raids (including the ability to get driving directions to the location) , Add and View Sanctuary spots, and to share your immigration story in the "Our Stories" section. This feature promises to be amazing once complete. Stay tuned!
❇️ The Immigration Reform Now! "Know Your Rights" feature, now available, provides you with a quick cheat-sheet put out by UnitedWeDream.org so that you have your rights at your fingertips in the unfortunate event that ICE shows up at your door.
❇️ The Immigration Reform Now! "Links" feature provides convenient links to websites for organizations and people who are working towards a positive resolution on the immigration issues plaguing this country.
