Aplikasi android resmi hasil kolaborasi Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kabupaten Bekasi dan Dinas Komunikasi Informatika Persandian dan Statistik Kabupaten Bekasi.Aplikasi ini menampilkan deskripsi berbagai indikator yang umum digunakan dalam dimensi sosial maupun ekonomi.
Seluruh konten dalam aplikasi ini bersumber dari Buku Ensiklopedia Indikator Ekonomi dan Sosial yang diterbitkan oleh Direktorat Analisis dan Pengembangan Statistik, BPS.
Setiap indikator disajikan secara terstruktur mulai dari konsep dan definisi, manfaat, rumus/metode perhitungan, interpretasi, sumber data, publikasi, penyedia informasi, kekurangan, dan implementasi.
Aplikasi ini wajib dimiliki oleh seluruh Perangkat Daerah dan Pengguna Data, karena sangat bermanfaat untuk:
1. Membantu memahami jenis-jenis indikator;
2. Membantu memahami kegunaan/manfaat indikator;
3. Membantu menginterpretasikan indikator;
4. Membantu memahami cara penghitungannya;

Semua deskripsi indikator dapat diunduh dan disimpan dalam bentuk pdf. Tersedia juga menu pencarian untuk membantu menemukan indikator sesuai dengan kata kunci yang dimasukkan.
Pemahaman tentang deskripsi indikator akan sangat berguna bagi Perangkat Daerah dan Pengguna Data dalam memonitor pencapaian pembangunan sehingga hal-hal sentral yang menjadi titik berat pembangunan dapat lebih difokuskan.
