Esta aplicación cubre el vacío existente en el ámbito de la Reumatología, ya que los especialistas y pacientes no disponían de una herramienta de este tipo con información actualizada, útil y de interés, accesible a través de los dispositivos móviles de Android y Apple. Se divide en dos apartados: uno para profesionales y otro para pacientes, aunque contiene contenidos que comparten entre ambas secciones.En concreto, en el apartado de profesionales se incluyen las siguientes secciones: Publicaciones (Manual de la SER), Eventos (Congresos, Simposios y Cursos y acceso a la inscripción de los mismos), Becas, Investigación (Guías de práctica clínica finalizadas y acceso a calculadoras de índices de valoración útiles para los reumatólogos), Noticias, Enlaces de interés, Geolocalizador de centros, Calendario y Contacto.
Esta aplicación también incluye la agenda de eventos que se recogen en el calendario de la página web de la SER, visualizados tanto en formato agenda como en formato calendario. Además, cualquier usuario de la aplicación podrá agregar cualquier evento de la agenda de la SER a su calendario.
Mientras que el apartado de pacientes recoge también noticias e información sobre las distintas enfermedades reumáticas, actividades SER dirigidas a pacientes y enlaces de interés de asociaciones de pacientes. El geolocalizador es un apartado clave en el cual se va a reflejar los centros especialistas registrados con sus datos, recursos disponibles, áreas de interés y sociedades con las que se trabaja. También se podrán aplicar filtros de localidad y provincia, lo que facilitará enormemente la localización de los centros por proximidad al usuario.
