De Catharina Obesitascentrum app is speciaal voor de patiënten van het Obesitascentrum ontwikkeld en ondersteunt hen gedurende het hele traject. De app is de online coach waar patiënten te allen tijden terecht kunnen voor betrouwbare informatie rondom obesitas en de ingreep.Het Obesitascentrum van het Catharina Ziekenhuis Eindhoven bestaat uit zorgprofessionals die gespecialiseerd zijn in de behandeling van patiënten met obesitas. Het zorgtraject bestaat uit de voor- en nazorg rondom een maagverkleinende operatie.
Patiënten met obesitas die een maagverkleinende ingreep ondergaan, worden gestimuleerd een levenslange leefstijlverandering aan te gaan. Zo zijn bewegen en gezonde voeding enorm belangrijk in dit nieuwe leven. In de app is er volop informatie te vinden over deze gezonde leefstijl.
