5 ★Although the app is not as straight forward as the other dating apps out there, I highly recommend it. I have deleted the app more than a year ago as I met my boyfriend here. I am not sure if it's just the area I live in, but the pool of people that were suggested to me are all nice, decent men. It's so wholesome. The app kind of forces you to text each other because there's an "expiration" on the chat (I believe it's 7 days). In a way, that pretty much weeds out all the people you're not ready interested in. When I did my research, there was a finding that this app is tailor made for women, and I believe that, as I did not meet a single guy who tried to take advantage of me or who tried to get into things I didn't really want to get into. I highly recommend Older Women Dating... It might take a while to get used to, but it's worth it.

The algorithm that this app uses is truly unique and gives dating in the modern age a chance! Each day you get a \"fresh batch\" of 6 singles and you are given a week to make a move and connect. The app can only do so much! If you\'re genuine and honest about what you\'re looking for, you will find him/her. This isn\'t a \"hookup\" app so don\'t expect a quick swipe for a one night stand. The men I connected with on here were lovely and now I\'m engaged to a wonderful man! Good luck!
5 ★I was skeptical when I first downloaded this app (2015) because never would I thought I would actually meet my future husband on a dating app (honestly, this is the ONLY dating app I tried). My initial mindset of meeting anyone online was going to be causal, fun, short, and just someone to explore the city with since I was a recent transplant to a new city. I matched with my future husband after only 1.5 weeks on the app. He was the first man I agreed to meet up in person with and then we got married 3.5 years later. 5 ★Finally. An online dating platform that miraculously monitors conversations for appropriate and respectful interaction. I had just joined and within 3 days was communicating with a match. At first all seemed on the up and up. But then he repeatedly asked what I was looking for, if I had any success and how long I was on the site. At the last I responded with an answer and that I had already answered his question previously and had decided not to communicate with him further feeling very frustrated. Next thing I know, amazing Older Women Dating sent a message to me next to his profile \"User account has been suspended due to suspicious activity\". I am assuming he must have responded not too kindly. HOORAY OWD!!!

We both liked this app as opposed to the many others out there because it was easy to use, UI friendly and the choices in people seemed more serious than other apps. I know it was still a chance meeting “the one” on an app but this one will have a special place in our hearts.
5 ★I really liked this app. Casual easy to use. I used this app for months with little luck had a couple of good dates but nothing overwhelmingly great or overwhelmingly bad. Strangely a lot of people will like you and then never talk with you which was strange and at times disheartening. After a couple of months I found someone and took a chance on them and I found someone that is scarily good for me. We have so much in common and instantly clicked. It’s been almost a year of dating and we are getting ready to move in together. I am very happy with my experience with Older Women Dating. 5 ★I used this cougar dating app in early 2019 before they updated it to the scroll style, which is now more like Hinge in that all the photos are laid out vertically and you scroll down, with bio information interspersed. I find this to be a cluttered, ugly style and it’s why I hated Hinge. What I liked about owd is that it had a clean layout, encourages you to fill out some basic but meaningful information about yourself, and prioritizes quality over quantity in a way other dating apps don’t. owd is, I think, the best app for finding a relationship as opposed to a hookup, or at least for meeting nice people with whom you can have a conversation. Curating your selection of daily bagels encourages you to consider each potential match more carefully, while the explore section gives you more variety, and since it’s not a swipe style like other apps, you can spend more time engaging with each person’s profile and making a decision. In short, owd is the only dating app I’ve ever really liked, and I had several good dates from it. I met my boyfriend (I’m female and was using the app to meet men) really quickly through owd, so I only used the app for a few weeks. I kept it on my phone to keep our first conversation, and recently opened it to be disappointed with the way the profiles look now. But I haven’t tried it with this new style, and I’d still recommend the app on the strength of how good it was when I used it.

5 ★Pros: this app allows users to include some info about who they are & their dating preferences. Nice to be able to add 9 photos. The ice breaker suggestions are good. Con: only allowing 7 days to chat is NOT enough time. I don't want to give my phone number to everyone. Would rather use the app to communicate until I'm ready to share my number.
5 ★I was pretty hesitant to come back on to OWD because I almost got scammed in 2016. Came back in 2020 and I think the quality of matches are really good. OWD cannot guarantee that there won’t be any scammers, but they are very efficient in fact checking, are responsive and they follow through. I appreciate them corresponding with me and they seem pretty friendly too. They don’t want their users to have a bad experience because it will reflect on their company too. They do seem to care a lot about people getting connected. I would use this app in the future. For now, I’m pretty happy with the bagel or coffee bean that I’ve connected with just after 3 weeks.
