1 ★Update: it won't even load a video now. Not nearly as good as the Sportsnet app. The casting isn't reliable and they don't have an app on Google TV so the only way to watch is to cast. The schedule is not user friendly as you need to go to each individual channel and scroll through the schedule for the day. It's nice that they have bonus coverage that isn't on the main networks but until it is actually live, you can't see what they have for bonus coverage.
1 ★I bought a 6mo subscription, when I got on I immediately saw you cannot watch content later nor record anything. I immediately wanted to cancel, literally 3m later and automatic response was that section 6c blah blah blah says no refunds and I'm in for the full 6mo billing period. App is a 2 star for the lack of playback, 3 star if you disregard that and zero star for service. Not classy TSN!
1 ★I subscribed to watch Euro cup. I didn't have any problem watching yesterday, so I was a happy man. Today when I tried to watch, nothing was showing, so I called tsn technical support. I waited on the line for over 40 mins, and no answer. This is ridiculous!
1 ★I think one star ratings are overused, but since I have yet to be able to get this app to work, that's what it gets. I can OCCASIONALLY get TSN Direct to work on my computer or mobile browser, but the app just goes to a black screen when I try to play video.
1 ★Content well presented. However, Casting from the Android application ... Not much of a hit. Actually, only working half the time... And when it does, it stopped every minute, making it pretty much useless!!! To think that I actually paied for this service 😤
1 ★Got a monthly sub to watch the euros. App is acceptable but is a mess to navigate. Also no Chromecast app... What's worse is that you make your customers pay $20 for paid content yet you make us sit through two ads before we can watch a single video, that's a disgrace. Definitely unsubscribing after the Euros are done. If I wanted to see ads I'll just go watch it on TV...
1 ★Absolute garbage I'm paying 20$ a month and it's completely useless. I signed up to watch the euros and the I can't watch the live stream. Keeps cutting off and giving me an error. Please do a google search and see what people are saying. Reddit has tons of people like me absolutely frustrated by this scam
1 ★This thing is hot garbage, and so is Bell/TSN. Like others, I bought for the soccer, to watch on my phone while I used my computer. It is so stuttery, it is unwatchable. Super frustrating. I dusted off an old laptop -- which is not ideal at all -- and it was workable for 1 game. Now it too is throwing some weird error code in Chrome, and crashes every minute or so. Bell/TSN has reached a new low.
1 ★If you want to cast to Chromecast, don't waste your money buying the subscription. There is a bug and it stops casting and then you have to close the app and restart again. Kind of frustrating when you are watching live games.
2 ★App can't stream live event. Signed up to watch Euro 2020, but can only watch through the browser. No on-demand games either. Picture in picture? No idea, doesn't stream in the first place. And 3 ads on a paid subscription!? Dazn is way better, just wish they had the rights to Euro 2020.
1 ★I bought monthly package for TSN direct to watch Euros. The streams are lagging all the time. I can't cast it on my TV with Chromecast. Today connection keeps timing out. Highly disappointed. Feels like waste of my money. Won't recommend anyone. For a big company the service is extremely poor.
1 ★Does not stream on samsung phone. Edited 6 months after first review. After replacing my Samsung 8 with s21, app finally worked. However, my android box was also working for some time but now stopped. Watching live fails. I have a subscription. Can't give more than 1 star until this works.
