1 ★One of the main features that need a complete overhaul to make shopping easier is the LISTS. I cannot find my shopping lists anywhere in this app. I would like the Lists to be more user friendly, allow for personal customization, also to be able to check items off as I go. Lists should be more compact also, to be able to see more items on the screen. A print option would be great too.
2 ★I like having both food and store items in one but... I wish you could add notes for deli meats. We like thin sliced and they slice way to thick. I don't like that substitutions for orders you can't chose what you want to substitute for in this app. I want the option to get what I want not Walmart. I wanted to try a different store as things were Out of stock at my store and it would not let me change stores. Why order online if I still have to go in store, which I don't want to do right now.
3 ★Beta app so far it's a NO for me-- maybe the issues were due to beta, but my purchase on it was not problem-free.I got blank white pages when I clicked for a close up of the items. Navigating not as clear or simple like before. Search function terrible! Could not find any síze guides for cloth- ing! Even checkout process is quírky-- would not let me check items before placing the order! Truly frustrating. I fail to see any improvements and had no problem with old app. Sorry, a frequent shopper.
4 ★Would give 5 stars, but they removed the UPC scanner. I like doing price checks at the store, or add items to my shopping list like the old grocery app and current app. They finally unified their apps into one. I liked the old Wal Mart app and the grocery app, then they merged them and it sucked, but now with the new app it's unified better, looks good, my only grip is now way to scan bar codes.
2 ★Problematic issues. - Can't use Giftcards/EBT - defaults availability is Anytime. If need it soon, have to click filters. Default should be day and time chosen for pick-up/delivery - choose an item, but don't notice the price, you could end up paying $17 for Easter Peeps when you think it is just holiday extras for $1 each. - still have not figured out how to tip delivery - items dlvd 2 hours ago, but 1 hour ago got text delivery delayed & can't claim for wrong item chosen by shopper.
4 ★So far, so good. I like that it remembers across all devices. I would like the prices to stop baiting & changing, & sometimes I can't like a helpful review. The improvements are great, but I would like more clarity on availability. I don't like ordering something & being told it's an in store only item. Please update outs. I get an e-mail that say yeS, but the app still says no.
1 ★Don't bother with this app. The original is better. Can't scan items in store for prices, can't use voice to type in the search bar. Android says search bar is for email entries. It's needs to be easier to know if an item is from Walmart or a third party vendor. Doesn't have separate cart for grocery and online orders. That was a nice feature of the old/current app. When you search for an item it doesn't tell you where in the store it can be found, if it can find the item at all.
4 ★Very easy to use, the categories separated & the suggestions are a great addition.
2 ★Charges for in-store pickup. ************************ The buttons react faster and more smoothly. My purchase history is more visible. My pickup/shipping orders show each step of the process right at the top of the home screen. I can quickly repurchase anything I've ever purchased, and it's all organized based on the type of item, with a picture of the item and the price right there. Everything I'm looking for is right there! Overall, I love the new functionality as well as the look and feel.
1 ★If this app is just for ordering online for Pickup options, then this is great, but the title of the app made me think this was a new WalMart App. The old is way better. I can compile a list (which needs an overhaul), when I search items, if it's in store it tells me which isle to find it, price scanner, etc. This app is totally lacking. Maybe those options are to come? But I don't even use pickup and that's all this is. I don't think beta should launch without the basics, but I'll check back.
3 ★Huge improvements in functionality from the previous app. But, echoing other reviews, the blurred lines between local store & online purchase was a bad idea. There needs to be a toggle for local store (pick-up/delivery) only! The search filter isn't good enough; it needs to be an app-wide or session-wide thing in order to avoid confusion. Other than that, this app is headed in a great direction!
3 ★This new app mixes in store same day, 2 day and 3rd party to where it is difficult to tell where you are getting stuff from until checkouts it's a downgrade in my view After using this a few times, I have figured out if it says today it's local and most likely available. Issue, It seems the tip system is broken, this is not good for drivers. You cannot put a tip in with the order, instead it encourages you to add it afterwards. This seems to lead to an error. The tip system must be fixed.
