Description
This is an early access version of a proof of concept application, not all the quirks are worked out yet. Please send feedback if you find any issues, or have any comments.This app is useful in the following scenarios:
I'm fed up of commuting and looking for a better place to live, closer to work.
• Select your workplace on the map and see where your new home could be.
• Select your potential new home and see if you can reach your workplace within reasonable time.
I'm looking for a new rent and I want to see how well it is connected to the rest of London.
• Enter the postcode of your selected rent (or tap the map) and see what you can reach within reasonable time.
Most of the search aspects are configurable:
• How long you are willing to travel.
• How much walking you allow to reach the first tube station.
• Speeds: walking, interchange, station entry/exit
• Visuals: dynamic colors, single color
Due to the nature of proof of concept, sadly, there are some limitations:
• Overground is not included
• National Rail services are not included
• Buses are not included
• Cannot exclude tube lines
• Interchange times and travel times between stations may be inaccurate
• Walking calculations don't take land features into account
• Some combination of parameters may not work
