How to install Drift Life 2.0 APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download Drift Life 2.0 APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.drift.driftlife-v8.7.6-ApkClean.apk)

1 ★Firmware update via the app crashed the camera... support are absolutely rubbish, told me the the camera had "come to the end of it's life" and that " I should buy another one with 20% discount".. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE UPDATE FROM THE APP! Thanks to Teja Chemudupati for explaing how to recover the camera (His review is on here and its the one I recommend)
4 ★Im a fan of the Drift Ghost S. Be aware that the app may not like connecting to the camera wifi in the presence of your main wifi. if you have problems connecting the app to the camera wifi then try it again when out of range other wifi networks (or turn them off while connecting phone/tablet and app to camera wifi). See if that works.
3 ★When the app doesn't close/crash when starting, opening Settings or directory it's very slow. App doesn't always display live video, you have to select disconnect camera then select again. Had no issues with wifi. Sometimes the app will play saved videos, its hit and miss. No problem connected to a computer, SD displays correctly. Samsung S10e
3 ★I appreciate what the devs try to achieve with this app, but I've had mixed experiences with it across a number of mainstream android phones with my Ghost 4k cameras. The latest problem is that the app interface doesn't seem to respond at all once connected to one of my cameras from the new Samsung Galaxy S10+.
1 ★Installed on Moto G5 plus and will connect to Ghost X but stuck at loading and can not get to settings or preview screen. The app used from an ipad mini to Ghost X works fine. Bummed as I do not carry my mini with me. Camera itself works fine but I feel like I'm missing a lot of functionality without the app working.
2 ★Great camera but a trash app. Can't download my videos, can't download the upgrade because it can only download when connect to the internetless camera wifi, and I will never upgrade this camera since it is bricking some cameras. It's sad how you don't understand how important is to have a good companion app for the product.
5 ★The app is not perfect but today's update is an encouraging sign from the publisher. So I'll rewards those efforts with a 5 * review. Hopefully they will continue working on the app to provide a software experience that matches the excellent quality of the device.
2 ★DO NOT UPDATE FIRMWARE WITH THE APP! It bricked my brand new drift ghost x which was working fine!!!! edit: if this happens, take the SD card out, use a card reader to plug in to your computer, download the latest .bin firmware file from the Drift website, drag it directly onto the SD cards's root folder (the main storage containing other folders), reinsert the card into the camera, and it should work when powered on.
1 ★Does not work. Note 9 and GHOST X. Camera has wifi on, phone is only hooked to ghost wifi, data and bluetooth off. I also updated the camera bin file from their website. App finds the GHOST X, but will not allow me to change settings or access anything. Just sits there saying "loading". Garbage.
1 ★Not having much luck with this app. After setting up the wifi on my phone, the app will not go beyond the loading screen. Very disappointed. I was considering purchasing another Drift camera, but if things don't function correctly then I've decided not to bother.
1 ★Finally getting rid of this app I can't stand it anymore! Camera seems brilliant, possibility the larger memory cards slow it way down when accessing through the app. I can never play videos through the app, it loads and looks like it is playing but the screen remains black. Pull the memory card and put it in the laptop, all fine. Aparently there's also a firmware update for my Ghost x........can't get it to update my camera but then tbh the camera works ok so I'm frightened to update it.
1 ★the 1 star review is based just on the app, it as shocking!!! all it does is crash, fails to upload video files. The cameras are good but the app is appalling. I am considering changing cameras solely on how bad the app is. drift pull your finger out, you owe it to your customers!!
