1 ★I'm in Co.Galway but the town doesn't exist on the list of locations. I turn on location, but it continually defaults to Dublin. I uninstalled before even getting started.
3 ★Accurate app but it's let down by a few things. Default location is Dublin, can't be changed. Have to search my area every time I use it. The widget is likewise stuck on Dublin, making it useless. Turning on "My Location" used to make the app crash. It doesn't crash the app anymore but it still does nothing, default is always Dublin. I would definitely be using this more, including the widget, if it actually displayed relevant information to me by default.
1 ★really bad. I've downloaded this new app 3 times now and keep deleting it as it is so frustrating. Still waiting for it to be updated. I miss the Satellite images which were gorgeous and you could see Europe. Ireland is tiny.. you need a wider field of view! i want to see what's happening in the atlantic. And what's up with the location and being unable to change it! fix it please. Sat24 app is far better
2 ★Good overall but this app constantly reverts back to Dublin as my location, even though it has access to my location and has been granted all necessary permissions to access my location. I find this extremely annoying, as I don't live in Dublin. Really need to fix this.
2 ★Widget does not work. App shows different weather from the mobile version! Generally more accurate than other forecastet apps eg YR. Also can you allow to zoom out further in the isobar view to get a better picture of the whole weather system. Eg show isobars for the whole of europe and some of the Atlantic so we can see the balance and movement of the Atlantic lows and continental highs.
1 ★possibly the worst weather app out there... not counting the accuracy of the info provided, the app is just unusable, resource hungry, and usability challenged. it's so frustrating to go back and fro between map, summary forecast and details that, after patiently trying for 15 minutes to get to terms with it, i just decided to uninstall and get my info from the website. -5* if possible.
1 ★Location is the most inaccurate iv ever seen, iv complained many times within the app and it just gets worse it tells me one day I'm in a town 5 miles away from where I live and the next I'm in a place that's over ten miles away when I'm still in the same place and to top it all off when I search my area it cant be found very frustrating
2 ★Weather information is good and fairly accurate, but for a modern day weather app, the widget is dire and to add to that, the widget only gives information for the nearest main weather station, not your nearest local met eireann station, in my case I get Cork City, 30 miles away, but Moorepark met station is only 9 miles away.
5 ★This app gives excellent location specific wind information which I use in conjunction with my own anemometer. It's predictions are updated regularly throughout the day and night and are invariably on the nose. Obviously it's prediction accuracy decreases the further into the future you look but it's 5 🌟 from me, no question.
1 ★The app is pretty terrible. Rant follows: The rainfall bar charts are scaled to the most rain that day. So, one day a full bar means 0.1mm will fall in an hour, another day a full bar means 3.0mm will fall. You can't flick to the next day without going back to the summary screen. The summary icon for a day often has no relationship to the hour by hour icons in that day's detail. The text often doesn't match the icons and/or predicted rainfall map.
1 ★Android widget remains blank, & refresh is unresponsive, for hours after phone is restarted. It also commands too much blank border space on screen that I could use for other icons or widgets... The developer email does not respond to or acknowledge any feedback. I also note they don't interact with any comments on Play Store. Disappointing from a tax-payer funded organisation...
1 ★The old app was good with the recent rainfall radar accurate and the forecasts reasonable. Since they "upgraded" the app I have seen numerous times where it has been raining for hours and the recent rainfall shows nothing. The new app is slow and uses more data to do a much worse job. Sad.
