A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★This app is a little rough around the edges. Visually it's dated. User experience wise, it could be significantly easier to use by guiding you through the first time setup instead of providing a separate tutorial. Side note: if you have the BP3GY1-2N model sold by Costco and it's rejecting the Bluetooth connection, try holding down the start button until it displays "CLR PR" and try again. I couldn't find the solution to this problem listed anywhere, had to figure it out on my own.
1 ★This is a terribly designed interface, and product. The printed manual, which comes with the device, offers no meaningful directions or instructions on how to use this device. Trying to turn on Bluetooth, on the device, is not addressed. How to access Settings, on the device, is not addressed. The App is an equal abomination, offering no meaningful instructions or directions. It's as if the entire user interface was designed by intoxicated monkeys. Purchase another product.
1 ★I read the instructions booklet and followed the apps tutorials, but couldn't get past selecting the device and pairing. I worked at it for an hour and couldn't successfully pair or download any measurements. I'm an engineer and have written cell phone apps (and Bluetooth drivers), but I can't for the life of me get this app to do something useful. I'll likely return the device to Costco due to the poor performance of the app.
1 ★As many have noted, bluetooth is terrible. Bluetooth would initially connect but would never sync any data. Tried unpairing and pairing the unit a second time. Would never connect after that. Tried restarting my phone, pulled batteries from unit, etc. Same thing happened with a second unit. To be fair, it could be the hardware is terrible but no way of knowing.
1 ★Terrible blue tooth issues and pairing. I am not technically challenged but this is a very frustrating app. The few times I did get it to work the data format is not very good on the app. It cuts off numbers. Considering I have to track my blood pressure for my doctor I will be finding a better device. The app and device aren't worth the trouble
3 ★The app is a pain in the behind to get going. You cant let your phone pair with the BP machine, you have to make sure only the app pairs with it. You only have seconds to connect once the device name pops up, and you have to have location and bluetooth on before you start or it wont work at all. But once you get it to talk it says that the profiles dont mach, just say yes. After all that it will download everything onto your phone. Turn on everything first.
3 ★I gave this software and monitor 'set' a 3 because it does a good job determining and presenting the user's blood pressure, pulse rate, and a few other heart parameters (e.g. values consistant with other sources). However.... I purchased the 'set' because I wanted the data recorded and transportable. Not even close, the instructions were written in a way that I can only describe as "random omission".......the monitor interface probably probably makes sense only to the developer.
5 ★Before this microlife machine I had a plain ol' BP monitor. Bought this at Costco for $43.00, because microlife has a lot more features and readings than a simple machine. Very pleased with machine and Android app. Easy to use, & machine gives me lots of critical information. Really like the "Averaged Measurements" feature. Phone app easy to set up. Tip: Follow directions exactly to pair with your phone. Note: BT pairing list on phone named as "BP3GY1-2N", not "microlife."
2 ★Purchased the Costco version, the normal modes work well and seem to match other machines and the doctor's offices. The blue tooth features, don't bother....I have to fuss with it and manually connect my android device, then go through the dashboard if I can get it to work. It is so much easier ***and much less frustrating *** to use one of the free apps available from the stores. If I have to spend two minutes pairing up and syncing, why bother... I can enter my readings faster on a manual ap
1 ★Tedious and difficult to set up. Does not give you any kind of direction to connect Bluetooth. Use instructions written by malcontent employee. I hope if I ever get past this it will work well. But do far frustrated. This thing is going back in another couple of hours if I can't use all the advertised features.
1 ★Won't sync with my BP monitor, gives some cryptic message about profiles not matching between device and app, and then asks if I want to "overwrite" the profile on my device. It then switches to a screen that appears to show a Bluetooth sync in previous, which never stops - it just sits there on that screen forever. What the heck does that mean? I've read the entire user manual, including the troubleshooting section, which is useless. COMPLETELY UNUSABLE - STAY AWAY.
1 ★I am not very impressed. I do not understand why this app has to have access to everything on your phone to work. I would like an explanation for that. I did have trouble setting it up because I did not feel the instructions were clear. When I finally did get it it, said it didn't match the monitor and I had to override it to get my reading.
