Die App ermöglicht eine schrittweise Bearbeitung der in der Gefährdungsbeurteilung festgelegten Maßnahmen vor Ort. Zu jeder Maßnahme können Bilder und Text-Informationen aufgenommen werden. Alle Merkmale der Maßnahme können vor Ort geändert und ergänzt werden. Unter Umständen reicht es aber auch, die Maßnahme als durchgeführt zu kennzeichnen. Wichtig ist, dass der Sachverhalt so genau wie nötig und so knapp wie möglich dokumentiert wird. Entscheidend ist hierbei das Dokumentationsbedürfnis des Anwenders.Die Durchführungs- und Wirksamkeitskontrolle wird von der PC-Anwendung „BG BAU-Wegweiser“ zunächst über einen Cloud-Zwischenspeicher für ein zuvor gekoppeltes Gerät zur Verfügung gestellt. Über die App werden die Daten auf das Gerät geladen und können dort bearbeitet werden. Nach Abschluss der Bearbeitung vor Ort werden die Daten von der App an den BG BAU-Wegweiser zurück gesendet und in die Gefährdungsbeurteilung übernommen.
Informationen zur Einrichtung der Cloud, der Kopplung von mobilen Geräten und der Bearbeitung der Daten können im „BG BAU-Wegweiser“ über die „F1“-Taste aufgerufen werden.
