Sigca es una aplicación que permite monitorizar en tiempo real la evolución de una explotación forestal, ilustrando en cada momento las cantidades de cada tipo de producto y calidad que están pendientes de saca, depositadas en cargadero listas para transportar o entregadas ya a la industria correspondiente.Facilita la trazabilidad de productos y su calidad desde el monte a la industria, partiendo de un inventario de madera y su calidad acordado en el contrato de venta entre propietario forestal y empresa maderista.
Consta de una plataforma web y de una aplicación móvil. Ambas son accesibles con usuario y contraseña previo registro. La plataforma web permite visualizar y monitorizar todas las explotaciones que se den de alta por el propietario forestal. La aplicación móvil está únicamente destinada a actualizar los datos de descarga de madera en cargadero por parte de los operadores de la explotación y de los transportistas que entregan el producto en fábrica.
Se trata de una aplicación creada por Agresta S.Coop en el marco del proyecto del grupo operativo SIGCA: mejoras en la gestión forestal para la calidad y la competitividad del pino marítimo. Se ha abierto la posibilidad a introducir otras especies y tipos de calidad más amplios que los que podrían corresponder exclusivamente al pino marítimo.
