Description

Stream audio wirelessly with your Philips TV, soundbars, and speakers. Whether listening to music or watching the big game, never miss a moment with the ease and flexibility of Wi-Fi music, powered by DTS(R) Play-Fi(R).

Breakthrough DTS(R) Play-Fi(R) technology powers simple, great-sounding whole-home wireless audio systems. From tabletop speakers, to AVRs, to sound bars, to portable speakers, and now televisions, DTS(R) Play-Fi(R) works with everything.

Stream music and stations from all your favorite sources, such as Amazon Music, Deezer, Napster, Qobuz, Tidal, and more. With Wi-Fi music powered by DTS(R) Play-Fi(R), the music is always in sync, even on the TV, which enjoy a rich visual experience complete with artist details, song titles, and station and album art.

More than music, DTS Play-Fi's TV Multiroom feature wirelessly extends the TV experience throughout the home to compatible DTS Play-Fi products, so you can hear what’s playing no matter where you are. Use the Wi-Fi music app to configure a TV Multiroom zone even when you’ve stepped away from the TV.

This app will also help set up your wireless Philips sound bars and speakers, configuring your Spotify groups, and even displays your Apple AirPlay and Google Cast zones of audio, so that you can manage what’s playing, regardless of who’s playing it.

Please also note that the Wi-Fi music app powered by DTS(R) Play-Fi(R) is companion software to Philips audio products enabled with Play-Fi technology. It is not intended as a stand-alone audio player.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★This must be some kind of record that one needs three apps to manage a single device and two of the apps dont work most of the time and look something from the 80s.
2 ★Terrible experience with Philips play-fi. I bought a recommended combo of philips tv and sound bar and the play-fi connection is endless struggle probably thanks to this app too.
1 ★How can TP Vision charge so much for hardware when the software is awful in so many ways? - app will often crash (not a phone issue) - devices will appear as available and then disappear randomly (not a WiFi issue) - poor English translation - mirror of the DTS Play-Fi app (which is equally bad) - poor user controls for multiple Fidelio devices (not a WiFi issue)
1 ★Worst app ever.. Wost linking prodect ever.. Wth
1 ★You should be able to edit the custom EQ settings from the app. But it's damn impossible to find anything besides musuc streaming sources. Either it's not there or they've hidden it in the countless amount of menus. Had I known when I bought the soundbar that I would have to listen to muffled, almost unhearable voices because of a crappie app couldn't lower the mid range and raise the treble, I would never have bought it.
1 ★Absolute disgrace of a service, has rendered my year old soundbar useless. WiFi setup doesn't work on brand new Samsung ultra and a powerful WiFi router. (Edit) DTS app works. Delete this from store Philips!
1 ★Unbelievable bad To connect your Play Fi it's an absolute pain.
2 ★Useless for soundbars. Only controls volume. A seperate app is needed to use a GUI to configure the soundbar.
1 ★I hate how every app always ask for rating so now everyone gets a 1 star!
2 ★The android app is honestly a pain. For a few months now, it's been saying that I had an update available but whenever I tried to install the update the app would crash without giving an error code. I finally decided to retry these exact same steps on my iPad and instead of crashing, only then did I get the warning that I needed to disband my speaker group before the update could be installed. Philips still treating Android users as second class customers in 2024.. amazing.
