5 ★Liked the concept of the app. if possible add feature where all the searched words comes as flashcard which will help to build vocabulary.
5 ★Excellent work, loved it. There are only two flaws, one is excessive ad which sometimes cause too much annoyance. Suppose you are reading a book, you copy a word for looking up, it opens and suddenly an ad appears in fullscreen mode. Other drawback is that it doesn't pop up if you copy more than one word, so you can't see the meaning of any phrase of idiom with it. That's it. Rest is too good
5 ★this is exactly what i was looking for. most of the apps like this pops up the definition but you have to use the option copy which is annoying and fills up phone cache. but with this app it adds up another tab at the end of the copy/paste menu named LOOKUP where you tap and get the pop up definition of a word and another great thing is you can choose some other dictionaries as well such as urban dictionary, Google define and a few more. using those at the same time is not a problem as well..
4 ★Amazing experience! Really before this app I didn't think I would need it, but now I can't imagine what I'd do without it. Fortunately, I already had Livio dictionary installed on my phone which is my favorite but was annoying to search when reading a novel & Then this came along & it connected me to my favourite dictionary in no time. I always want it exactly like this. Don't add unnecessary updates or interface changes. Thank you
4 ★Please I love your dictionary very much, the feature I was trusting that my favorite dictionary, Livio English Dictionary, would come out with, that is what you have done, the quick search floating widget feature and included my best dictionary in your list, but here is the bug; immediately you type a word which is in Livio dictionary, but not found in Look Up, the word in Livio doesn't pop up. Livio also has thesaurus in hyperlinks that take you right to the respective word list but in ...
3 ★Good app for looking up words, and I like it that you can just highlight a word and get a definition, but it has some negative parts. The app CONSTANTLY asks you to review it until you just answer no instead of later, and even then it gives you notifications as reminders to give it: "an awesome review". That was what pushed me to review it now. I also think that clippy and word of the day notifications should be optional. Good app, just needs improvements.
2 ★This app has potential to be very good but it has an issue that persist even across several different devices; I have to constantly reset the pop-up switch for it to work on copy. I originally thought it may just be a problem with older versions of Android but it does it with 9.0 as well.
4 ★Does what I want over the stock Android dictionary app, specifically look ups within look ups. The overlay on the center of the screen is obtrusive though, I'd prefer if it popped up on the lower half of my screen without a dark overlay over the rest of it. Being able to quickly look up a word and immediately re-read it in context is nice. Edit: Reachability setting doesn't change that the box covers up text underneath it. Imo, the box would take up 35% of the screen without obscuring any text.
5 ★Just Wow! The best in class app. Meaning, synonyms, vocabulary builder(me starring the word), pronunciation - all so smooth. -can we have the action (star etc) bar upfront in the meaning--pop-up window instead of clicking a button. Will make actions frictional less. -what us the requirements for copy-to-meaning function?
2 ★EDIT: Disappointed that full screen ads have been added to the app at all. Especially when they block & interfere with whatever app I'm using. Freezes my phone every time. --- Everything I've been looking for!! I love the option to add Google Search results as a dictionary. Ads are unobtrusive, every lookup has been fast even on my glitchy phone, ability to add notes for context is unique and incredibly helpful. I also love the option for haptic feedback when a definition pops up. Just PERFECT!!
5 ★The app is, in my mind, and absolute must have for everyone! No longer can people make an excuse to not expand their vocabulary or misuse a word. Having the ability to copy any word and get a quick definition of a word. The only suggestion i could give is i'd like additional sentences giving context to the words, but other than that this app is flawless and will always be the first app i download whenever i upgrade phones. A++
4 ★Edit: Yes! You're right dev popup shows only when single word is copied. But issue is still the same. When no definition is found why show such big popup. Previously it showed little toast for 1 second. This is really trouble some when copying people's name, some word in different language (hinglish, etc.) and more instances which I don't remember correctly. Edit 2: You can add a switch in settings for fully offline mode. It would hurt your admob but you can make it paid feature? Just some ideas
